Adobe Flash Player for Samsung Galaxy Ace

Hey people Ifound a working link for Adobe Flash Player 10.3 for armv6 phones on XDA.Downloaded it and it works for me. As far as it goes for me i didn't have to reboot or anything after installing.

Ok i see that a lot of you people aren't getting flash player to work
so i'll give u a more detailed tutorial:
To get flash player u need to have Cyanogen Mod7 which is basically a cooler version of android.
Note:Controls in clockworkmod recovery
Volume button up and down: to scroll up and down
Home button:Select action
To get CyanogenMod7 (The End rom)
1.) Download Clockwork mod recovery from this link:http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=743333&d=1318051346 and name it upd.zip
1.1.)Download CyanogenMod7 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1440396
2.) Go into recovery mode by first switching off the phone and then holding the
home+power button.
3.)Next install the recovery by clicking update from sd card.
4.)After it installs, reboot your phone into recovery again and you will be in clockwork mod recovery.
5.)From here select choose zip from sd card.
6.)Scroll down to where you saved the zip file and select it.
7.)It will start installing and after it finishes you have cyanogen mod7.. Woohoo!!

This has Adobe flash player 11 inbuilt and this is the ROM that i use and it works perfectly for me.

I have flashed the same on my phone but sometimes message of force closed to some applications keeps on displaying on my screen. . so what i did is to wipe out cache/factory reset. Thanks for the link for adobe flash player. . . hopefully this could be of help to upgrade the functionality of my SGA as soon as problems on cyanogenmod7 on my phone will be fixed. thanks. . .

Hi all, can somebody tell me why we need the Flash Player on Ace. I don't have any problem watching videos on given websites & Facebook/Twitter/You Tube/XXX etc...etc.. Also, the i-sheep doesn't have Flash, so what am I missing?? Thank u. Graham

(unrooted )... how to know whether my phone is armv6.. iam new to android .... and more over will cyanogenmod 7 gives better performance than gingerbread????(battery,and stuff)....i need flash player desperately to my device coz i want to watch online cricket streaming .... plzzz hlep guys ... if it is such a noob question excuse me!!!!!!!! i can watch only online youtube videos..... and in c7 mod will all the video formats be playing??????

So no comments & nobody can tell me why I would actually NEED Flash on the Ace?? I like my Ace to have all the "bells & whistles" available, but I haven't come across anything that is hindered by not having it.......

@graham, you don't need it. Some websites mis bits and cant play all videos but u dont need it.

This version of flash, like all the others doesn't work with stock roms...........

Sorry PJ147, but I have stock rom 2.3.5 and this flash version works fine. The minimum android version for this flash work is 2.3.4.

Note: This Flash version did not worked with Opera browser.

Hey buddy, I have got CM7.1 latest and armv6 but I am unable to install the adobe flash player apk file which u have linked to.
Any solution to this would be highly appreciated.

You can have Flash with Gingerbread Stock Rom (>=2.3.4) or with Cyanogen (>=7), but don't use Android Market Flash version, because it's only form "Arm v7" or superior. For "Arm v6" devices, you must install Flash app used by jdgreat4.
I moved from Gingerbread 2.3.5 to Cyanogen 7.2 and I got a fantastic performance on my ACE, but don't forget Samsung Kies don't works with Cyanogen 7.

hey tanx for the info but... this version of flash is also not working ,like i cannot see live cricket streaming.... and more over u said samsung keys wont work with c7 mod .. i didnt understatnd that point can u plzz tell me is that "KIES" or KEYS???

Did you try to access other flash sites? Problem can be with streaming process and not with Flash. What Flash version required by live cricket site?
What browser are you using? Original Stock browser, Opera mini, Dolphin HD?

"Samsung Kies" (Samsung Apps) is the software for your PC to connect to your Samsung device (USB), but only works with Samsung Stock Roms or Custom Roms with Samsung components. If you don't use Kies, you don't have problem for Cyanogen 7.

Kinas, glad it worked for u. My friend is on stock 2.3.4 and it does not work. Im on stock 2.3.3 and as it also didnt work on froyo I assumed it didn't work on stock!

I only can confirm Flash 10.3 for Arm v6 working on 2.3.5.
I found a previous Flash version 10.1 for Arm v6 on Adobe Flash Player ARMv6 www.eusouandroid.com.apk - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download and may be can work with Android 2.3.4 and 2.3.3, if you want to try. Good luck

it's BETTER to use which browser TO USE THIS FLASH?generrally use opera or default....
And how is the performance with c7? Can u give ur gmail id?? ID NEED SOME INFO ABT C7!!

Hi Kinas. . how is cm 7.2, is it stable? Cyanogenmod7 is a nice rom but i have problem with internet connection and google maps seems not supported. I am previously on cm7.1, the one with updates but still i'm having problem, so i switch back to stock rom gingerbread.

After some days playing with CM 7.2, I think it's better to wait for more stable release. I didn't find big differences between CM 7.1 and CM 7.2. Like you said, there's some problems with some apps on both versions, but I liked CM 7 performance. For now, I'm back to Stock ROM 2.3.5 and waiting for a more stable version
