Cases & spare batteries?

Apologies if these questions have been posted before... I did search back a few pages but didn't find any results.

I've also scoured through the usual channels (eBay, Amazon) and came up with surprisingly limited options. Please advise of any cases and/or spare batteries you have purchased and used, and give some feedback. After the Cyber Monday sale there will be many more Triumph n00bs besides me with the same questions, may as well get this eventual thread goin' now :D

I bought this a month ago and over the case they sell for $20 at Best Buy there is no comparison. It's more safe to drops on screen as the rubber goes a little over the top to protect it so if you were to drop it lands on rubber. It also won't fall out of your pocket, which is a problem I had with the Best Buy case (Pretty sure the name is rocketfish). If you are on the verge of buying the Best Buy one or any others on amazon or similar don't! This one is half the price plus 10x better Amzer Silicone Skin Jelly Case for Motorola TRIUMPH - 1 Pack - Blackhttp://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/r...mp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B005DQFEWU :D
*Edit went just to check exact time it was October 27, 2011 that I bought it on Amazon, this one was so good I returned the $20 one and never looked back :)

I bought a cheap ($10.00) rubber case that fit snuggly over my phone at one of these generic stores at the mall. It works great. The only thing I don't like about it is that the raised bump over the volume buttons aren't raised enough so that you can barely feel them. But it protects the phone and that's the reason I bought it so I'm happy.

I went to Best Buy and bought a leather case with a clip to carry it on my belt.

No spare batteries but I did buy a battery extender from Walmart. It only charges my phone about 30% though so I'm not happy with it. I'm eventually get another Richard Solo battery extender which will charge 80%.

Amazon: Anker battery and powergen charger. Get both for about $25. Great deal. Battery tests out same capacity as original Moto battery. Charger is more or less universal. Plugs in wall, and comes with car adapter. Charges like our phone. Red light up to 90%, full charge, light changes to pink and trickle charges until full, light turns blue. Rocketfish case at best buy is great. Low volume, doesn't add bulk, and doesn't "stick" in your pocket like those silicone or "gel" type cases. Damn I hate those. Yes it is over priced.

Does this case get stuck in your pockets when you try to get it out? Does it attract lint like crazy? I bought a cheap 2 dollar case for the triumph, made of silicone as well, that is completely useless because every time I try to rip it out of my pocket it is almost always slipped off and covered in my pocket lint.

sorry someone got to answer that before i did!

anyhow i hope to see a review on it somewhere (youtube, or the poster who ordered it)

No problem, I did a search and found nothing, but never checked Ebay. I'm not really trusting of smaller unknown companies over in Asia really.

It would be nice to get some feedback from someone who has used this battery though. I don't have a huge need for a better battery, but at that price I wouldn't mind buying it if it does last a bit longer.

I have been looking for a decent case for my Triumph and, while I see quite a few, I don't want a "jelly" case. Is the Amzer case a harder silicon or more of the jelly style? I have an otterbox on my OV and love it. My day job is in IT so I am mostly behind a desk but sometimes I am under a desk fishing wires and such. After hours I have a lawn maintenance business and I fix cars on the side. So I really have a varying extreme of what I do and I need my phone to hang with me through all of that. I really hate the "jelly" style since they stretch out fairly quickly with all the in and out of pocket use. Plus they collect pocket lint like it is going out of style!

Also what is a good belt holster style case that the triumph fits in with the Amzer case installed?

I ended up ordering the combination below. I received the charger first followed by the battery a few days later. I did a full charge on the battery and then put it in my Triumph. It was at 100% when I went to bed and at 83% when I woke up. I've been downloading some apps and sending some texts and it seems to be working fine. I will be happy to post further findings as they develop. So it only cost a total of $15 for both items and so far I am happy. I would recommend these items!
