Help Evo 4g stock battery life.

I have an evo 4g stock unrooted. I have a trident cyclops case and love it. Problem is my battery drains after 2 hours of internet surfing. Want to get an extended battery but don't want to get rid of my case. Is it asking to much to get more than 2 hours of 3g internet on a stock battery.

2hrs straight of internet use? that seems like a lot. what does your battery read after that? how much does it go down? i'm rooted and if i'm on the net for that long my battery will go down a lot as well. 3g is a battery hog just like 4g but not as bad. i keep my 3g turned off when i do not use it. that will help out tremendously rooted or not.

When I'm at work I make a few phone calls not more than 5 minutes a piece, check a few e-mails and check news headlines. I leave the house at 5:30a.m. And get home around 5p.m. When I try to use pandora while I work out after I get home it runs for maybe 10 minutes and then it is dead. Am I asking too much of a stock battery?
