I just stepped outside to get a quick nicotine fix in. Ya know how it gets when you stare at this thread for too long on days like today and can physically feel yourself sliding into more of a sad state.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw my neighbors son (12-13 years old) laying face down prone in the mud/snow between his shed and the line of bushes separating our back yards. After casually observing him for a few minutes I could tell he was playing his own game of hide and seek with me hahaha. So, when I could tell he wasn't looking at me I grabbed a nice handful of snow and balled it up. I waited for him to look away once again and lobbed the snowball at him igniting a short but mutually beneficial snowball fight. It took me back for a moment to being a young boy again; when these petty problems we're debating about here meant absolutely nothing, and laying face down in the mud on a cold December day was completely normal, wildly entertaining.
So, if any of you really are that upset and feel disheartened about this whole situation, remember that its not the end of the world and that kids all over the place are enjoying themselves today and couldn't care less about their parents data connection. We have perfect snowball/fort conditions here in NE if anyone cares to challenge my territory
