***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

Hey guys, guess what i got in the mail. Its not the nexus..but i can almost feel it! This is the TPU case i got. There was some discussion about these earlier in the thread, but im gonna throw these pictures in there to compare them to my G2. This phone looks like its gonna be big compared to my G2. Incase anyone is wondering, i got this case off ebay for $5 shipped. And its dark wine red. Yes, that zagg case is for the nexus too...i hopped on the accessory band wagon. Only thing not pictured here is my 11,000 mAh external battery pack.

I'm so addicted to that game I Brought my Xbox & Skyrim with me when I left town for a couple days.

Between Skyrim and this forum, I really should be seeking counseling. LoL

I've called almost all the stores around me and they all say the same thing...

They have the phones but they cant sell them until Verizon gives them the go-ahead.

However, one of the stores did tell me to call back at 6pm (pst) to check back because she is "expecting an update" tonight as to when they can sell them.

Actually I did have one in my hands today by being the opposite of angry. But having a job that allows me access to certain areas and people helps too.

Funny, I was out of town last week for 3 days for training, and I ALMOST brought my PS3. I probably should have, the room actually had a nice 32" LCD TV.

Love the Dogfish Ancient Ales.. cool stories to go along with interesting beverages.

For me though, Guiness or Stone Arrogant Bastard is the way to go. Stone's Vertical Epic is good too, though can be hard to find and next year's batch is the last.

I'm a diehard IPA guy.

IMO Racer 5 is top notch and consistently delicious. Then i'd go with Green Flash West Coast IPA as my second choice, and Drakes IPA or Dogfish Head 60 min for my third choice.

Okay, so, I'm a psychiatrist but the GNex has powers beyond my years of training and practice. An hour ago, one of my patients called me in crisis. This guy works at Best Buy and we've chatted about my quest for this phone in the past. I told him what to do and the parameters for going to the hospital... But before I hung up, it flashed through my mind to ask him about the release - he was calling from work after all! I successfully resisted, but he is supposed to call me back later tonight to check in...

So at least this shrink is in no position to run a GNex addiction group!

haha, i had one in my hands for about 30 seconds today as well. we need a post like yours to keep us all in check every once in awhile. although, as i have been saying since November 17th, if VZ would offer us an open line of communication, most people would be happy. the most frustrating part is not that i don't have the phone in my hands, but that they just keep saying "soon" and telling people to "sign up for e-mail alerts". said e-mail alerts would be great if they actually used them for news regarding the nexus development, distribution, or delays, but they use them for NOTHING. when i signed up for e-mail alerts on the thunderbolt, i didn't even get one saying it had been released until about 3 weeks AFTER it was in stores. why tell us to sign up? why even have the page? all i really want is to be treated like a human being, instead of an account number tied to a monthly bill.

according to sources such as cosco workers, best buy employees, CSRs at vzw, managers, the release date is now tomorrow or sunday or monday or tuesday or wednesday or anytime before 2012....WELCOME, you have time traveled back to the week of thanksgiving. but I can for sure tell you it will not, i repeat, will not be out before black friday

Scott I talked to the corp store in northbrook and spoke with a rep. he told me they have them in stock and he would call me when he gets word it will become available which he said would be hopefully next week.

I am at my daughter's school concert. The singing is cute. It's what you'd expect to find at a 4th and 5th grade concert. Right now though is the instrumental portion. I am sorry, I will preface this by saying I know it's not very nice. And I know they're trying. But it sounds like a flock of dying geese with the occasional drum beat.
