Really?? My battery life has been absolutely terrible. I'm not sure if I have a lousy radio, but it keeps switching from 3G, to 1x, to nothing. I'm lucky if I don't have to recharge before 1 pm if I take off the charger at 7:00.

Bad radio. Mine was as solid a radio as I've ever seen. I think it was definitely one of the reasons that battery life was so good on mine.

just saw the confirmation that google wallet is the issue, and i am shocked!

i was led to believe that google/samsung were trying to put out a shoddy phone and that benevolent verizon was keeping my pure hands from being tainted by such a despicable device, thus the reason for all the delays

i guess we haven't gotten *official* complaints from google/samsung though, so maybe it's not true

I might or must have missed this too. Do we have any info/confirmation of who will be OTA'ing the updates with or without VZ intervention?

The more I hear about this fiasco, the more Im inclined to wait. I don't see verizon not finding a way to shoehorn themselves into the process somehow. Anybody find it ironic that verizon was able to have their apps while there's drama over google wanting to include wallet? I may just wait until spring when it shows up on other carriers.

There was a Ghost Armour screen protector on my Thunderbolt when I bought it used and the only way I can tell it has a screen protector is by looking at the edges of it very closely. I am curious about Steinheil as I've seen them mentioned a lot. I've never seen one in person.

Back when I first got my Inc I tried 3 different ones. Ghost, Stein, and VZ's brand. The Stein was by far the nicest as far as being invisible and having similar consistency to the glass on-screen. Picture is with the Crystal Clear installed

Well, if you get really nostalgic for the battle can pop over my way.. a few years back the woods behind my house became protected land when a contractor stumbled across trenches while preparing to clear it for yet another neighborhood of townhomes.. turns out they were emplacements from the first battle of Bull Run. Since then, I get archaeologists from the local universities showing up every summer to practice their excavation techniques.

Interesting it came to be the case. My boy at one of my local re-sellers texted me yesterday morning with confirmation that wallet was the reason for the delay. I'm sticking with him he's been great!

Disagree. Food is terrible in Austin minus the bbq joints. People only pretend it's good because it's made by one step above homeless 20 somethings.

Where have you eaten in Austin? Obviously not the right places. The food here is amazing.

I'll chime in to food talk, doesn't really have anything to do with meats from Texas or burgers, but since I moved to SC from central NY, I miss good food. Actual pizza, not this Pizza Hut, Domino's and Pappa John's crap. NY pizza is the best thing in the world to me right now because I miss it so much. That and everywhere I go other than CNY, the wings suck even worse. Wings anywhere around the country other than the Buffalo/CNY area are just puny and awful. Plus how I grew up was a strict Italian food diet mmmmm. Thank God my sister down here knows how to make sauce and riggies or I would have died already...

Their manager is having a big regional conference call right now discussing the nexus. He told me to call back in an hour. (btw this is the NYC area)

Which is the one that feels really smooth and matte? (is it olephobe?) Its the one where you can just slide your finger without that sticky feeling. I know it hurts image quality but I LOVE the feel.
