Summary:

1. Build is better & thinner than the Lapdock 100 and 500 (plus a LOT cheaper).

2. USB ports work

3. Full Firefox and a lot of plug-ins work (Linux based Firefox)

4. $65 is pretty darn cheap

I ordered one, so guess I am keeping the Razr.

The thread gives some background. Webtop on the Razr is what drives everything, so no worry of compatibility in regards to firmware or software.

Does this docks have hdmi out?

Its the USB working a big deal? The regular Razr docks have working USB. So that isn't a new feature, just a confirmed feature?

For $65, I'm really trying to come up with an excuse to get one...

Pretty sure it does not have one. I have seen the dock back when the Atrix was still the rage. Seems a good option for $65, since a full web device (with Webtop, of course).

Users report the USB works for mice and thumbdrives, but no info on game controllers.

Don't work with RAZR the atrix lapdock only works with atrix if you see on the back of the lapdock it it's a fixed connector the new lapdock 100 has a cable connector which its compatible with many motorola smartphones like the razr you figure out....

It does work. Took me all of 3 minutes with a razor knife and philips screwdriver to make the ports work.

Agreed. I will post some pics of how I modded it in a bit. I think the idea is very cool but you can feel the GPU struggle a bit at 1366x768 rez. Other than that its a very nice piece of tech for $50.

I ordered from att.com and it still says it hasn't shipped yet. so much for free 2 day shipping when it takes over a week to process.

The day it went on sale for $50 I went to the ATT store and picked one up. If any stores in your area have any in stock they are now $100 which is still a good deal for what you get. Hopefully future updates make webtop even better.
