Made it to check-out at the Radio Shack, did all the Verizon paperwork fine, then it wouldn't go through the register after all was said and done. Which I saw coming, obv. Had to try Hey, at least I got to hold it! (so sad)

Just popping in for a bit, then have some things to do.

No surprise that there wasn't any activity. I guess our best hope centers around the 15th. As for theories that Verizon pushed this back stragetically for marketing reasons, I don't buy it. This is being delayed for either bugs or legal status. Pick your poison, as bugs at this stage of the game are disheartening, but can be fixed. Legal issues give you a better feeling about the hardware, but can take a lot longer to resolve. Anyway, that's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

I have tons of Disney reward dollars, and tried to spend all of them at the Disney store today. Couldn't spend half of them. Is it me, or have some stores run out of ideas.

Ok so here is my RS story its about the same as everyone else. I walked in and asked a salesman about the "new samsung phone for Verizon" he actually new what I was talking about. He said "oh the Nexus yea we have a ton in the back but they are in quarintine and we cant sell them till the 15th". I asked how sure he was of the date he said it was offical unless they change it again. He told me to come by wednesday and he would put my name on one because I can't go untill lunch. So fwiw it looks like the 15th is offical (unless they change it at the last min. again) so we should all be with Nexus thursday.....

Oh yea I live in south GA.

I had In n Out for the first time last week in Vegas and I'll take Five Guys over In n Out any day. In n Out was just too hyped IMO and their burgers are tiny. Fries also weren't that good.

I said the same thing the first time, but get the grilled onions on the burger. Makes a HUGE difference. I LOVE In-n-Out. At least they have them in the DFW area now which isn't THAT far a drive for me (5 hours)...

Does anyone know if any of the ROM builders have put out an ICS build for the OG Droid yet? I'm bored and I figure it'd give me something to do tonight. I've been running stock for the last few months since I lost my original droid and had to steal the boyfriends so I'm just not really up on who has the best ROMs right now. Suggestions? I know CM dropped the droid....sad.

I coach a 1st grade team (we won 6-4 today)

I coach a 3rd grade team (we won 28-24 today)

I coach a JV team we won two games this week.

I either have 2 hours of basketball practice or a game everyday for my JV team and then two hours of practice for my other two teams per week.

It's a LOT of work but I love my 3 boys and I LOVE basketball. Being 6'4" 210, it's what I did growing up. My youngest is an amazing point guard. My 3rd grader is 5' tall and my oldest is a shut down defender (never really an offensive threat but he can flat shut down most anyone on the court).

That's awesome. I think it is so important to be involved as a coach at a young age. I have coached both my boys in football and basketball for the last 5 years. It is a lot of work - but worth it. I also think if head coach is not available, it's important to help out in any capacity you can.

This last year, my older son's jr. tackle team was awesome. I didn't think I needed to add too much info when I saw an ex-NFL quarterback working w/ my son on his new routes!
