On December 2 version, to me the zip fails and I can only see the Meta.

i downloaded too the both files. 1202 didnt unzipped, but 1130 is seems ok. i renamed is update.zip, plug the atv, but when i chose the software update, the ATV restart, and didnt seen the update.

installed update20111130. seems to be the same as previous version, + market. every thing so far so good here. working: composite, flash/youtube, market, wifi, etc. the only thing i dont know how (if) works is Sync with google account. i added account, but doesnt seem to synchronise. not a big deal anyways.
one question, when i start the box, u have an option to start one of to options. i selected option 1 and set as default. what to do to change it now to option 2??

My impression with the 20111130 version is pretty good.

Finally run both the market and the application of youtube (again youtube.apk).

The only thing is that you can watch videos in hd (only web).

Added in the status bar buttons absurd I do not like.

We have improved the performance, I would say 3-4%.

Regarding what you said is like the previous version, it is not believe me, this is much more stable in many things.

Before each time you turned the ATV went on in full hd and now, now it works fine.

Before starting the ATV always disfigured doll android and now.

About what you said Launce of default, you must go and search applications which put all LAUNCHER, cache and delete it (data) and should ask the launcher again, I now I can not prove.

me too get the disfigured green logo at start (some horizontal green lines). but that bothers me less. as said, so far so good. best update up till now.

Whit this version (and with update20111117 too) I don't hear the voices on videos with AC3 sound. It's a strange thing because just the voices are gone , the backgound noise or music or whatever in the background I can hear on my TV.
I suppose I need to connect a 5.1 audio system to hear all the sounds but where?
The audio output is just Left and Right...

I'm running update20111117 using the coaxial digital output to stereo speakers and can't also listen voices on AC3 movies, but background noises and music. I think the AC3 mixdown of the central speaker to stereo rendering is not properly configured in the codec.

To play any stream protocol from udp, multicast etc... you must have special amlogic player.

Hmm.. try it (its pre-alpha) VLC for Android

VPCS has released two versions of the player: NEON and NONEON. To test that is available to you, run the ADB, locate cpuinfo file in the / proc. If after opening the Features tab you'll see neon sign, it means that the version of NEON is for you.

Has anyone tried to connect a wireless keyboard with a touchpad to the Geniatech ATV1000?

The product description on their website says the device supports USB mouse and keyboard, but I haven't seen any results posted anywhere.

In the other USB port I have a 2TB USB3.0 portable hard and this is working fine too.

do they have android 2.3 or is it a case of upgrade after purchase? and also are they ABC iview capable yet.

I try swapon and it works, but there's no considerable effect on productivity.
Try alot of apps for overclocking but none works on this device.
