What N1 do i have?

Trying to sell my N1 on eBay and i have to specify what one it is:

The choice is:

HTC Nexus One - Brown (Unlocked) Smartphone
Network Technology:GSM/HSDPA
Band:GSM 850/900/1800/1900 (Quaband) HSDPA 900/1700/2100

HTC Nexus One - Silver (Unlocked) Smartphone
Network Technology:GSM/HSDPA
Band:GSM 850/900/1800/1900 (Quadband) HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100

HTC Nexus One - Black (Unlocked) Smartphone
Network Technology:GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA, HSUPA
Band:GSM 850/900/1800/1900 (Quadband) HSDPA 900/1700/2100

I got mine from google.com/phone shop when it was first released. Is there a method to find out which i have?

I thought they were all the same. They're all unlocked, all quadband - that's for sure. The Technology specs are stupid... they all have GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA. I think the only difference would be the color, but again... I thought they were all the same.

So what you are saying is, I can chose any of the three in eBay and shouldn't get any problems?

There were at least two different N1s sold in the US. One for T-Mobile, one for AT&T. Both with work for voice on either, it's the 3G data that's different. Meaning if you choose the wrong one, you'll only get Edge data speeds.

My T-Mobile compatible one has a P/N of 99HKE002-00 (you'll find this under the battery).

Didn't know about the different colors.

Isn't that carrier-specific though? Why would they invest in 2 different hardware versions of the same phone, and why would we not hear about it after all these years? I think that in your case one has a software setting or some patch applied to limit the high speed mobile internet access to a specific carrier.

Mine looks just like that. I think you can pick any of the 3 choices.

Mine was bought directly from Google with no carrier branding or software. They first version that came out was only for T-Mobile, then they released a version for AT&T. Different frequencies for 3G. Could just be a software change I suppose, but as far as I know they can't be switched (certainly not by the end user in settings) by a software update. If Google could have released one phone that allowed a user to switch back and forth I would think that they would have. The US is messed up when it comes to comparability across our carriers, even the two GSM carries use different frequencies.
