Help caller ID is showing same number regardless of who calls..

Good afternoon,

Recently calls coming in to my droid show the caller as from the number 8XX 9XX 23XX - for EVERYONE regardless of where they are calling from (area code) and for people in my contact list that numbers used to pop up. Any known reason or fix -- must be in my settings somewhere?

Welcome to the forums, jwally.

That sounds like a carrier issue, rather than a device issue. I'd try calling support for the carrier to see if they've dealt with that before.

Other than that, I'd go ahead and clear cache and data on the phone app and related apps, reboot and see if it persists.

This can also happen if you're using Google Voice and have it set to display your google voice number.

(you can fix that through settings on google voice on the web)
