Will the OG still turn on and would I still be able to run apps on it? Would I still be able to use the internet on it (through Wi-Fi)?

Yes, yes, and yes. The only thing that will change is you won't be able to make calls or text and all data will have to be used on Wifi now.

Oh sorry, I should pay better attention! Maybe...she is still hoping it will somehow get Verizon sued b/c of how badly they've been treating Samsung this whole year (the Charge and then the Stratosphere....really? Where the SGSII? Where's the Nexus?)


Anyone ever think maybe they turned down the GSII because the Fascinate didn't do too great? Like it was Samsung's fault and not Verizon's for messing it up too much? (BING)

Yes, you won't be able to place calls, send messages, or do anything else Verizon-specific but it can be used as a PMP.

Yes and Yes. you can also still dial 911 from it. Its good to aways keep a spare charged up

That is correct. No change to your plan or features will occur.
