I'm sure this question has already been asked, but..

Is everyone getting a screen protector for their Nexus since it unfortunately does not have gorilla glass?

I personally have never owned a screen protector. Do the screen protectors often get annoying after awhile, or can you barely tell you're using one?

It's a supposed planogram. It's diagram or model that indicates the placement of retail products on shelves in order to maximize sales (from wikipedia). That includes currently released products.

Don't confuse not having Gorilla glass with being fragile. Samsung is using its own in-house fortified glass, basically comparable to Corning's, for the GNex.

However, to answer your question, I'll still be getting a screen protector. Even though the GNex's screen is oleophobic, I'm still too OCD to let my screen get smudged.

I mentioned the 3g to 4g promo in the doorways system at first she thought I was talking about double data, then she went to talk to a "floor manager" and came back saying it should apply automatically but since I don't believe that mess I asked if she could make a note on my account which she did, I'll double check that later. She said that the stores might not see the note so it might be better to order over the phone. Said it ended 12/31.

I found out through talking to a few different reps that you need to be in a 4g area and i have yet to talk to anyone who says it is valid anywhere but the Midwest.

Yeah, this has been re-hashed several times, but in short, the phone has fortified glass, just not "Gorilla Glass". I'm sure it's equal to that of "Gorilla Glass" BUT, as many of us owning phones with GG (Gorilla Glass) will tell you, it does not mean you will not get scratches or anything. I have a nice, long 2" gash down my phone which does have GG. Caused by the metal prongs on my wife's engagement ring. Pure incidental contact as well. Screen protector is always recommended! I ordered a Steinheil (spelling?) protector already.

I don't know if I'm dumb to try to jump from a Samsung Reality to a Nexus but all of your posts make me want it! It's either a Nexus or Rezound.

One question - is anyone worried about the unlocking part with your face? Do you think this is going to cause trouble? Is there a way to turn that off and just brush to unlock? What if someone else wants to use your phone?

The camera is what interests me the most. I have 9 grankids and it's been a pain to take quick photos of them. Most come out blurry. Even my two dogs get blurred.

When we go to concerts, I'm jealous of those that whip out their phones and can zoom in close and upload to FB right away!

I'm not up until Jan 1 2012, but hubby is. He is too old fashion and is not interested, he loves his Barage! I just don't want to miss out on the double data promo!

Well I'm in a 4g area in the NE, she didnt mention midwest at all said it should go through but thats why I asked for a note cause you cant take just someones word anymore unfortunately, hopefully it'll work out for you. I remember reading someone talking to the loyalty dept. Have you done that?
