Alright folks, back from lunch. Nothing much from my rep, says he has been hearing Thursday too, but hasn't been given the go ahead to make it official, and he will call me as soon as he hears it is, to make an appt... But also no bad news either, so there's that. I can't believe that we've finally gotten within 48 hours of a possible thread closure. It may actually happen...

Oh, American geography is easy!

Left to right:

  • Pacific Ocean
  • Woods
  • Mountains
  • Desert
  • More Mountains
  • Plains
  • More Woods
  • More Mountains
  • Woods & Rivers
  • Atlantic Ocean

Canadian Geography:

  • Pacific Ocean
  • Ice
  • Tundra
  • More Ice
  • Icy Woods
  • More Ice
  • Atlantic Ocean

Done! :D

j/k GOOD LUCK on your exam and knock 'em out!

For Canada, you left out (alternating between every entry): hockey rink, brewery.

Sorry about the non-description, I was talking about Burn Notice. And FWIW, I haven't seen any Star Wars, and I refuse to do so. Yes, I'll probably be the first and last geek you hear say that..

I too have never seen a Star Wars movie, and never will. Or Star Trek for that matter (movie or show). Same with Lord of the Rings which everyone raves about...and I consider myself a movie buff.

It sounds like you're not seeing them just so you can say that you haven't seen them. I'm not sure why you would refuse to see them if you're a "movie buff"

I wish the camera didn't have so many issues. It's the only thing that's stopping my "for sure" thinking of this phone.

I've had this same thought, then I remembered my frequency of picture taking and skill at picture taking (if not clear, these are both very low)

I figure the biggest thing I can do to get better pics is to learn to take better pics

Of course, that won't apply to many people here... I'm just saying for me personally, I don't think a better camera is going to give me better pictures because I still don't know what to do with it. Using my mom's GSII camera helped convince me of that haha!

Just got off phone from Costco, rep said Verizon is telling them the 15 but it is still subject to change. Rep stated would have to talk to manager about stock on hand leading me to believe they have stock already just waiting for Verizon to give the ok for sales to start. FWIW also tried couple RS and employees were either extremely rude with response or clueless giving Verizon to canned responses acting irritated I was wasting their time. Guess. Verizon has them both scared to talk and also frustrated that the phone isn't released yet.

Called a Verizon retailer who just told me as far as he knows it's the 15th.
He said the 15th is coming directly from Verizon, same as it did for the 9th.

Said he got an email at like 2:00 am on the 8th telling them the phone was delayed for a week, and the launch would now be on the 15th.

I feel better now....just a little bit.

I just spent over 30 minutes on the phone with a very pleasant and persistent rep. She tried and tried to find a promo that would work for me, going through every listing she could find. She insists it should show up automatically when you place an order. She placed several dummy orders but -- no go. All the codes came back as invalid.
She said she would check with her supervisor when he gets back and see if he can do anything. :(

I've seen them all which you speak about. I understand 100% abut SW and ST but trust me you HAVE to see LOTR.....I thought i wouldn't like it either (and i didn't like the first one at first). I never knew about the books or anything and had zero interest in seeing it.

Now, I own and have seen all the series(can't think of correct word) 500 times. It's is actually my favorite movie(s) of all time.

The Return of the King won an Oscar for Best Picture and all 3 received countless Oscar nominations. So what were you saying about being a movie buff again??

There are a select few movies I won't see just because growing up people quoted and talked about ALL THE TIME and hearing that annoyed me beyond belief. Prime example, I love Will Ferrell, but I have never seen Anchorman because people quoted it all the time and other shows/movies referenced it, completely ruining it for me. Star Wars is the same way. I see it in Family Guy (among other shows and movies) and people always talking about it, I just have no desire to see them anymore.

While I have watched all of the Star Wars movies and own them on VHS (original and "new and improved"), DVD and now Blue Ray I will admit that I have a hard time staying awake when I watch them with the kids now.
