I guess I could be called a lurker. I started reading this forum about a month ago. I decided to register when i got caught up reading this monster. Well about a month later here i was trying to register and all of us lurkers are bringing down the servers. Took 15 minutes. Finally made it.

Just got off the phone with which i guess was a CSR and she asked me what phone I was intrested in Purchasing I told her the Nexus ofcourse and she told me bascally that yes they have it but they do not have a release date and there was no poss. of a soft/quiet launch.. then she had the nerve to tell me about the Razor and how phonomnal it was Smh!! hope she was just reading a script.!

Well, sorry to all who I have missed in last hour, I am caught up to 930, apparently we crashed the servers, so I hope this goes through!

Yeah I can't believe I've been reading this thing since it was at 400 pages, let alone the beginning.

Began lurking on and off around pg. 650-700ish. Joined mid-november. Unhealthily addicted ever since!

The owner (Rob) and Admin (Phases) have a very specific vision for this forum. They want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable asking questions so that anyone no matter what their skill level with tech can get and/or give help. The moderation team was given the task of making sure that is what happens and the guides are there to offer even further assistance as well as support to this vision.

It honestly makes me proud to be a part of the team when people notice how different this forum is. So, thank you for noticing.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Finally coming out of the shadows to officially be a part of this uber-thread and clear something up.

I am on a family plan. My girlfriend's line is the main one. I'm an administrator on the account. My Dinc is available to upgrade in February. Her son's line has an upgrade available now. I won't have any issue walking into a corporate store and transferring that upgrade to my line for the Nexus on Thursday right, iconic device or not? I'll also be transferring my Dinc over to her other son's line at the same time...

Thanks for the help. This thread has been the cause of, and solution to all of my obsessive compulsion over the last few months. It's amazing what a community has been built in such a short time!

I have a rent-a-rezound right now until the nexus drops.

I was wondering if any of the people who actually HAVE the nexus now could let me know how the included headphones compared to the ones that come with the Rezound. Honestly I like the ones the rezound came with quite a bit.

As for the hours change, my local corp stores had hours changes too: Wednesday & Thursday lumped together and in a different color than every other day. What does this mean? Who can say. But I'll be calling them at 10am about a soft launch.

Hope I sleep better tomorrow night, but I think it can only get worse as the clock ticks away...
