If the Nexus is releasing tomorrow, why announce the white Razr and communicate to stores, but mention nothing to corporate stores or publish zip about the Nexus for 12/15?

I was thinking about that, too. Maybe they have very limited stock? So only a soft launch until they get their reserves up to where they want?

Who knows. I can't imagine them ignoring it though.

We'll get a big flurry of confirmations from store reps tonight, I'm sure.

If we don't hear about the release until tomorrow, will is be from stores just selling it for a really really early press release? The RS by my house opens at 8:30 so I was going to stop there on the way to work, but if there isn't a press until 10, will they still sell it to me??

Unlurking to add my name to this monumental thread (I can't believe it's approaching 2 millions views!). For everyone who thinks Verizon will not offer another Nexus or that they're half-assing this release - I think that will all change when the sales figures show how truly wanted this phone is by the android faithful. Bottom lines tend to do that to a corporation.

The only new phone announcement for 12/15 that was published and communicated to corporate stores was the white Razr.

So strange that they changed the hours at my store on Wednesday and Thursday to not open until 10am:

Probably because they are not going to put up their windows ads until tomorrow. They usually do it the night before but don't want to tip their hat until tomorrow.

I have them sitting in my inventory room right now and I've been instructed I can start selling them tomorrow morning!

FWIW I just called the corporate store in downtown Denver and they have no information, no release date, and no idea when Verizon intends to announce a release date. I am losing hope that tomorrow will be the day.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the phone go on sale before any sort of corporate PR. VZW is reluctantly releasing this phone. They don't care about it, as it's not going to be a cash cow for them. I doubt there will be a single TV ad for this phone, ever.
