Just got off the phone with my local store. They are expecting them in tomorrow morning. She took my name and number and is giving me a call when they come in to set up an appointment for me to pick it up.

I feel some animosity in that statement. You misinterpret my "predictions" and "pessimism". I WANT this thing to launch SO BADLY tomorrow I can taste it. I just know Verizon and have been disappointed by them too many times to feel any optimism at this point. I want this thing to launch for me, and for all of you. I want us all to be happy and finally post pictures of us holding our phones once and for all. I want to finally give my wife a phone that replaces her frustratingly slow Eris. I just can't get excited after all the let downs. Also, there are people in here that are CONVINCED it's coming out tomorrow. Not overly optimistic that it's coming out, I mean truly CONVINCED. And I just want to remind people that Verizon has said NOTHING. As far as i'm concerned, it is NOT coming tomorrow until Verizon says different. Please don't take my posts the wrong way. I'm as excited over the phone as anyone else, I'm just not excited over any particular date...........yet.

Having said all that. I hope I'm wrong. I hope I get called out tomorrow for being flat out wrong. I hope I get ridiculed and given a hard time for being wrong and we all have our shiny new phones tomorrow.

Yes, that is possible. Most logical? Who knows. It being Verizon, it might be the most logical. But they have to release it some time, no?

Shipments are still en route to stores according to multiple reps. If they canceled the thing, as I think you've said at times, they wouldn't be doing that.

We all knew that this isn't Verizon's golden-haired baby. I'd have been shocked if they ramped up publicity for this before release. My guess is that soft launch with no fanfare is the way they'll go.

The boston stores still claim it is not coming out tomorrow and they have no stock. Heck they don't even know about the whtie razr which was already announced (and they claim to not have any of those either).

Went across the street from work to talk to a verizon reseller and they had no idea if the day would be tomorrow. I asked them is that because you don't know or you're not allowed to say where they laughed and said we actually dont' know since it was supposed to be released last week and we haven't heard anythign official for this week. But who knows, this whole debacle is just a disaster now. If they don't release this week, might be the new year.

OK, I just got word from my Verizon rep. They are so pumped about the Droid RAZR that they have come up with a new promotion starting tomorrow:

Buy a RAZR at regular price and get a Samsung Galaxy Nexus for free. (The ultimate disrespect shown to the Nexus)
