So the fact that they *didn't* say the phone was releasing tomorrow is a good sign?

Ooh ooh Boston people! I knew you were out there. I'm in Brockton, we have a corp store and a few resellers nearby. I'm kind of afraid to call. :lol: I'll probably just wait til tomorrow morning and see what they say.

I'm not quite in Boston, but shoot up 93 and you'll go through my town before ya hit 495. That said, I plan on checking in with the corp store @ the rockingham park mall in NH. They're the #1 store in the northeast (according to them) and I figure they'll have a bunch. If I can get confirmation tonight or early tomorrow AM that the thing is available, I'll be buying mine there in tax free Salem NH!

dealing with several months of this nonsense (started with bionic fever in something around June!)

This will most likely be the last day this thread is open (for the full day) as it will be closed tomorrow if when the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is released. I just want to take a moment and remind everyone about the forum rules and guidelines. Please be nice and respectful to your fellow members. Nobody wants to be put on a No-Posting probation this close to launch.

Due to the incredible amount of traffic the site is receiving right now there may be some database errors throughout the day. Servers can only handle so much. Please try to avoid double or triple posting content during one of these times.

Also, please remember that the Razr is an Android phone and while some of you may not be interested in it, there is a forum full of people here that are. There is no reason to bash the phone or anyone that uses it.

Last, as I've said quite a number of times. If you see a problem post please please please report the post and don't quote or comment on it.

Well at this point, if it doesn't release tomorrow, I think we can agree that all store reps have lost total credibility, through no fault of their own of course.

That includes the Love Tunnel and Cheetara. Anything they tell us can still be considered to be true based on what they hear, but I will be convinced that Verizon is either BSing their own employees or are so mind-numbingly stupid that they continue to finalize dates only to push them back at the last minute. Any leaks of any dates will thereafter be treated with extreme prejudice and hostility until it actually comes true.

If so, I'll be in TP bliss and I'll just feel sorry for everyone still enslaved to Big Red.

not sure why anyone would take this as bad news. vz has a history of announcing day of so this statement is nothing but consistent with that practice.

If that recent statement is true, then I would surmise there not being any sort of press release today announcing availability. Why put out a statement like that if they are planning on saying something today (unless it's going to be much later today). Unless of course this is a case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.

Also, kind of odd that we've only heard from androidandme about that statement and no one else yet.

However, I still think Thursday is in play.

You are never going to get a specific response like that from contacting their PR, that's only going to come from a press release.

I'm not concerned. It's non-information, just confirming what we already know. Basically looks like they were telling the guy to watch for a press release, which is what we're all doing anyway. It doesn't say the PR won't come today.

My local corporate store said that there was no news and no release tomorrow. She said she would have heard about it.

Others, here, say yes. I'm hoping for the latter.

Same here, dood I talked to was open for the most part, said that they have had them in the back since last week, but no news officially yet. He frequents these forums too, which I thought was cool.
