Hey whatever happened to the people who were telling us about their store reps saying it was delayed?

Have we heard from Ken7 now that it's official?

My guy told me that he's a ton of people asking about the release and said he's been texting them all today that it was the day

Think I'm going a little early to check it out then book over to another store if it is too crowded. I have 4 corp stores within 9 miles of me.

Eep! I wonder how BB stores will fare... I've got quite a few in range, but it'd be nice to get one out the gate without calling them all. And I really want one that's untouched!

Might have been trolls. Someone was saying earlier they suspected a lot of the debbie downers from earlier today to be deliberate deception.

Or it could have just been misinformation. I don't think it's a stretch to say that communication has been muddled for this launch.

What does lte region specific mean?

I'm thinking it means there are 2 flavors of the device (GSM and LTE) and you can get the LTE version in the USA maybe?

They weren't trolling - some weird corporate and local communications, that's for sure.

Moving forward - please treat them kindly, they had only the Nexican interests at heart.

I know this from checking - mods don't play no trolls at the last minute.

Plus - lost is the noise are a lot of those same people saying they were happy it wasn't so!

We're all in this together - this is a big win for Android, a big win for pure Android on Verizon and just a pure win!

i was at bestbuy, and played with a rezound for the first time. it was very nice but it was lagging. like i'd press phone and it would say "processing" for some period of time before going to phone.

the screen was amazing though. whites looked very white, no crossthatching effect visible. just perfect screen.

i then asked about battery life and the guy said "well these aren't built for battery life, they're built for being a computer." And I said "computer? I have a tablet for that."

but good salesman i guess, didn't answer my question.

edit: i told a couple friends at school today that i'm getting a new phone tomorrow. and they asked what kind. i proudly said "galaxy nexus" and just got blank stares.

I talked to one 30 minutes before the announcement. Told me that 100% for sure it would not be launching tomorrow. It is one thing to be ignorant... it is another thing to give people false information.

Just poorly informed or misdirected store reps. I got the delayed line from them today about 10 minutes before the release was confirmed and I can promise you I wasn't trolling
