Ok so I rooted because I decided it may be a way to solve my Ringtone problem. Followed the guide, all went fine and it showed as successful. I now believe I'm rooted.

Now started using Android Commander, so I can move files etc in Windows. But when I try and copy across files, or delete, I get the error message "you need root access"

I'm probably missing something obvious, but cant find the answer?
I've made my ringtones into .ogg files, I'm not usually an idiot, but I'm at the point where I need some help please :)

I can say what not to do: Do not uninstall anything using Titanium or any other rooted app, since you could have problems. Best to only freeze apps.

Also do not move system files around or replace others.

Just advice :)

Very good advice. Foolow what he says and you will stay out of trouble.

Freeze with Titanium Backup is the best way to get rid of bloat.
