50% Off Extended Battery

They told me they couldn't stack a corporate discount (25% for me) on top of the already 50% off in store. How did you accomplish this?

I don't know. He just did. It wasn't something I asked for. He just said "Blah blah blah extended battery blah blah after verizon and your company discount it is about 17 dollars." I said "Sure!"

A special sale on an extended battery for a phone on the first day of its release is a fairly good indication that you should buy the extended battery.
Just curious, how do you plan to charge the two empty batteries when you come back home at night? I'd suggest to get the "Spare battery Charging Kit" which includes a battery charging case, a standard battery, and Y-cable so that you can charge both your phone and the extra battery.

I got mine for 50% off too. I was wondering if anyone knew about the discount policies because I am on my father's business's account because its cheaper and I just pay him instead of verizon. Usually we get like $50 off of phones and what not but today it was $313 after tax then the guy next to me orders it and it was only $264 after tax for him but he was upgrading from an OG Droid. Do you get discounts the longer you wait after the NE2 date? But ya I bought the battery and they had no stock so it's getting shipped to my place by Monday they said. I'm impressed with the headset that came with the phone too. Although I do feel like I witnessed a rape watching the Verizon guy put the phone together and touching it and what not.
EDIT: Also they said they couldn't stack my discount it was which ever one was more money because I was like so I get 75% OFF?! and the guy said no.

My store said they had 50% off batteries, and brought out the extended battery... but upon trying to ring it up 50% was not there. The store manager talked to some higher ups who said it didn't apply to the Gnex. No extended battery for me :/

This is kind of what I ran into, but without the asking of the manager. The guy ringing me up thought their system might not have been updated for it yet. I'm going to try again this weekend or next week.

Not necessarily true. The sale has been for all 4G Phone batteries. This sale has been going on now for about 2 weeks, I think. As far purchasing online, supposedly you don't see the discount until you check out. And on that note, if purchasing online and you have the corp discount, you need to be logged out to get the 50% discount.

Same here. They thought it was 50% off too until they run it up. The Nexus is not included on this deal......

Add another one into the "confirmed" category for the 50 percent off extended battery at the corporate store. I called ahead of time and asked if they had it in stock, I then asked to confirm that it was indeed half off. After a bit the CSR said it was only on the std battery/charger kit. I then said that's weird, a lot of people are reporting that the extended battery today is indeed 50 percent off and it should ring up for 24.99.

After a bit, the manager at the particular store (awesome store staff btw) told me to come in and she'd give me the sale price either way. And even though I don't have an account with Verizon just yet (new customer, just ordered online last night), they honored it as promised.

Hopefully getting the phone delivered tomorrow!

I snagged up the extended battery. Although mine was actually 69% off. I got the 50% off plus my corp discount on top of that, which is 19% to make it a total of 69%.

Had the rep install it for me last night at the store. It was on 40% when I turned the phone on. Got home, put the phone on the charger and took it off as soon as it hit 100% which was around 8:30pm.

I've been running on the charge since last night and I'm currently at 52% battery. Phone has been on all night and hasn't been on the charger since. Letting it die down till the phone shuts off and will then give it a full charge to cycle the battery.

Overall, impressed with the extended battery as it appears I'll be able to go a full day on a full charge. The Razr I had I was lucky to get till 6pm on a full charge after taking it off the charger at 7am.

Ordered mine from *611, billed to account, 2-day shipping, no problems.

Now the question: if I keep the stock battery around as a backup, will I have any issue using IT under the extended battery's cover? Yeah, I know it's going to fit, but what's the likelihood there'll be enough space between the stock battery and the new cover that the battery will rattle out. I don't want to carry around the original cover.

I got mine ordered for 50% off at a corporate store this morning ($26 after tax). They didn't have them in stock but are shipping it to me with free 2-day shipping (will probably arrive on Monday).

I called my corpo store and asked them to hold 2 for me (one for me, one for my mom) and they take my name down and say alright. I literally walk in the door 6 minutes later, and both are sold. They are sold out. So lame, but they are shipping them to me and they should also be here Monday.

That is what I will be doing and right now I've got the stick battery under the extended door . The difference is so small its not gonna rattle off under normal use .

I had also bought the spare battery kit the door on the charger will not close with the extended battery but it charges it just fine . But honestly I'll be returning it and getting a cheap Hong Kong charger this one is kind of a joke IMO
