Anyone else order online and STILL waiting for a tracking number?

I ordered at 7am and received sales confirmation by email. I am a new customer so I was a bit concerned since it said they would have to credit check first... thought that could delay things.

Received shipping confirmation at 11:30am by email so 4.5hrs. Have fedex overnight tracking number with shipment coming out of WEST CHESTER, PA

I ordered mine online around 8:00 AM CST. By the time I checked the status page it was 9:00 and the order already said shipped but there was no tracking number.

Its now been almost 6 hours for me and I still don't see a track number on the status page and I haven't gotten any emails about shipping.

To those who do have tracking numbers, two questions:

Does your order status page show the tracking number?

Did the email come from Verizon or FedEx?

I checked my account balance and I've been charged the 299 plus tax, but I haven't received any confirmation email other than the one Verizon sends you immediately after the purchase.

That email has a link to check your "order status". It's been 14 hours since I've placed my order and I still don't have a tracking number. I can't help but be a little concerned.

Just spoke with a customer service representative and thought some of you guys might wanna know. She said verizon keeps shipping out orders until 5:30PM eastern time. So if you are extremely eager like me you can keep checking and hoping that it gets shipped out until a little past that time.

Edit: got my tracking info about 15 hours after I ordered the phone. Unlike a lot of you mine never said shipped, it just said order complete check back later for more info but now it is shipped.

When did you place your order? It took my order around 7-8 hrs. to change from pending to shipped.


I placed it at 11:05pm mountain time last night

WOOT! I JUST got the shipment confirmation email with tracking number. In my case, it took just shy of 7 hours from the time I ordered. FedEx shows they picked up about 30 minutes ago.

The time between ordering and getting the email probably depends on several things:

Where your phone will ship from

How busy that shipping location is

When FedEx does their pickup(s) to that location

In my case it Shipped from a location in Memphis, TN

Edit: Also, my status page has not updated with my tracking number and I am guessing it never will so don't worry and I would say don't bother wasting your time checking that page over and over like I did. :)

My order says shipped as well. No tracking number yet. Said shipped from 12 PM this afternoon

What is weird though is that I got two confirmation e-mails from Verizon. One when I put my order through, and another saying "you are queued for processing". The order number is different on both e-mails.

Hopefully I get my tracking info soon, and shipped really does mean Fed Ex is picking it up today.

I just received shipping confirmation as well from Memphis, TN.

It took over 15 hours for me to receive the tracking number from the time I ordered so don't worry if you feel you've been waiting a while. They're on their way!!!

P.S. - I received confirmation via email and not through the link Verizon sent immediately after placing the order.

Well, I finally got a tracking number and found out that my FedEx 2-Day is actually 3-Day shipping. I'm a little irritated, won't get the phone until Monday now. Every other time I've used FedEx 1 or 2-Day shipping, the driver would come on Saturday if that was the delivery deadline. Called FedEx and Verizon and was told that I can't change it now and that I should have selected "Saturday Delivery". WTF? I get packages from FedEx all of the time and have never had to specifically ask for Saturday delivery.
