I will see how it performs at work Monday (in Charlotte). If it's not any better there, I may exchange it for a Rezound. Have either of you from Harrisburg tried the Rezound? I would absolutely love this phone if it weren't for this problem and the battery life. It's horrible, probably due poor signal.

I have similar issues. I'm showing 2 bars, -105dBm at the house right now. Though I've made a few calls and haven't had a drop yet. My OG Droid like to drop calls all the time in my house, so who knows.

I'm taking a trip to the Hickory area today to visit family so I'm anxious to see how it does on the trip. It will be interesting to see how well it does for you uptown as well.

I'm very minimalistic, as you can see.

I might try NOVA launcher to customize my app buttons to a Tron theme (they're on another homescreen right now).

I hope that devs will start working on changing the colors of the software buttons.

Those automatically show up when making a folder.

and you make a "folder" by dragging one shortcut onto another.
You then have the ability to name the folders to reflect what's contained within them.... so my "Games" folder has inside it a number of game shortcuts

I do not have a screen shot (promised myself I would finish finals before I spent any time playing with my phone), but would it be possible to request (in the OP) that people post the names of everything on their home screen? A lot of us have been here enough that we can recognize most widgets (if not the skins) by sight, but for many people that is not true.

I know they made a requrement like this in the Thunderbolt thread, and it helped everyone and cut down on posts that just as "what is this?".

tap on the widget > settings > Background Color > turn all the sliders to Off or all the way left including Alpha.

My home screen is pretty minimal with a pure black background so I can see if there's a practical level of truth to the idea that black pixels eat less power than colored pixels. I understand in principle that it is true, but practically speaking will it make a daily difference? Maybe.

i am using this but how do i make the text transparent background? my text in dock has a black square behind it, and it fine if i use a black wallpaper, but if not i dont want box to show behind text? antone?
