I put a new rom on my phone and ever since it has been restarting at least 2 times a day but the thing is I did not do a full wipe. I only wiped delvic cache and cache partition. Could this be why it is restarting? Also sometimes when I turn the screen on it is upside down and sometimes it will come out of it but then others I will have to reboot it to get it back to normal.

The rom is mikg v 2.61 and I am just using the kernal it came with. Another thing I forgot to mention is last time it restarted the battery life went from 51% down to 7% just from rebooting. So you dont think I am running into these problems because of the way I didnt do a full wipe of all the data on the phone? I know everyone is always saying its a must. I just got a little lazy and didnt want to re download all my apps.

I'd say almost surely it's the lack of full wipe, because MikG is rock-solid. Use Titanium Backup or MYBackupRoot to back up your apps and SMS, then do a true full wipe, by following this guide:
Can we flash over the old ROM?

It's worth the slight trouble to have an error-free rom. :)

Ya you are exactly right I really appreciate the prompt responses I get on here. The rom I was running before was a completely different rom but I gotta tell ya I dont remember which one it was because I deleted the file and this is my first new rom in a while. Ya I just have to let my phone charge up then I will do a factory reset before installing the rom.

And since you're starting fresh, instead of 2.61 go ahead and download the latest, MikG v3.0 -- the new tweaks are very cool. :)
