I had a full charge walking into the mall. I figured I would give the headphones a test, and threw on the WEEI sports talk radio app. I turned 4G off, and 2.5 hours later I was down to 10% battery.

The only thing I think i had running was the WEEI app, and I sent 6 pictures over text during that time.

Is that a faulty battery, or ??? any thoughts?

what other syncing apps do you have installed?
Stock battery not extended right?
Did you have good signal indoors where you were at?

THANK YOU...

The data was in, and out a little bit; well at least that is my assumption because the people talking on that app would go in, and out.

regular battery = yes

I was on 3G

Syncing apps = (i think i'm answering this correctly, if not let me know how to answer this properly)k-9 mail client (1 minute sync intervals) FB, IN, battery def, Go SMS pro, and then the other random Verizon crap that is always running

I just went to the BATTERY thing on the settings

Android OS = 52%

screen = 21%
voice calls = 11%
mediaserver 4%
cell standby = 3%
k-9 = 3%
phone idle = 3%
android system 2%
wei live = 2%

Hmm makes you wonder if the high Android OS use is related to data "flapping"? But you said you turned off 4G. Maybe 2G/3G "flapping" is also causing battery drain? hmm.
