Rezound $149 at Amazon

I'm ticked. I'm trying to buy this phone and when I get to the Check Eligibility screen it's telling my info is wrong, even though it's not. I've called Amazon Wireless, nothing there. Called VZW and reset all of my info. Go back to try the new info and I've exceeded the number of tries and I've been locked out for 24hrs. Called Am Wireless again and they can NOT bypass the lockout. Total BS. It is entirely their system that is not working properly in the first place that made me keep trying over and over.

relax, im sure this isn't a 1-2 day deal, its probably the new going price until the end of the year. Systems are designed to do things like this to avoid issues. I build corporate systems for a living, sometimes you just gotta roll with the process and be patient.

I had the same problem. Turns out the account has my wife's SS number, not mine. I entered her SS number (last 4) and it worked.
Good luck.

By any chance is the verizon bill in your wifes name or yours? I'm trying to get a rezound for my mother. She is the primary number on the family plan but the overall bill goes to my father (fios, tv, wireless). Her SSN is not working and im locked out so i can't try my fathers, at the current time.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I was able to order my Rezound today.
The Downer? It's Xmas so it won't be here for another 6 days.

FYI- you can indeed upgrade up to 7 days prior to your 20 month anniversary. My VZW friend told me this, it was confirmed by Amazon letting me upgrade today instead of Dec 29 which is my 20 month anniversary.

BTW- I think I found the problem... VZW had my zip code as the 9 digit form. I had them shorten it to the regular 5 code and it went through just fine.

For those of you that got the $149 Rez from amazon, how did you keep your "grandfathered" unlimited data plan? The ordering process forces you to this "services" screen where you have to choose one of the limited data plans. I chose the cheapest plan on the screen hearing that others were able to keep their unlimited data plans...just not sure how it's all going to shake out.

The option to keep my unlimited plan was in the list so it was np for me. I've heard that if that option is not on the list, you will still keep your unlimited plan regardless of what you choose.
Worst case scenario, just call vzw, they will change it back.

I've been obsessively checking the tracking and it shipped out of Phoenix last night. Should be delivered tomorrow.

My shipped last night as well. Except UPS doesn't deliver Saturdays so you may not get it until Tues like me. :(
If only I could have upgraded one day earlier, I would have it in my hands for the holidays.

I'm in SoCal so it's out for delivery today. Between this and Matt Barkley staying in school, it's been a great 2 days for me.

Hopefully you get a Christmas miracle today.

Whatever you do, do NOT try to buy any phones off of Amazon with an Amazon gift card.

I am in a living hell right now because I used the Christmas bonus I got in CASH to buy Amazon gift cards so I could purchase the Rezound phone off of Amazon. When I went through the checkout, there wasn't any "gift card" option, so I added the cards onto my Amazon account. That still did not bring up the option to use the cards. Come to find out, the phones aren't actually ON Amazon... they are on Amazon WIRELESS, which is under a different "umbrella" (so I've been told). When I found out I couldn't use the gift cards, and hadn't been given any indication that a refund could NOT be provided, I went ahead and purchased the phone through Verizon. I thought the refund would have had plenty of time to come through, but it has been several weeks now, and they still haven't made up their mind as to whether they are going to give me a refund. I understand that refunds for gift cards aren't generally given, but there was no way I could have known that an Amazon gift card wouldn't work to buy a phone off of Amazon (Wireless). Now my Verizon bill is due, and I'm still out $225.
