Why used Esteem >$250?

Why many ppl keep selling/buying USED Esteem for $250 or more? There is a brand new factory sealed on Metro store/wirefly...etc..etc... for the same price.

Exactly. But, not many people know about Wirefly or any other place that sells is cheap. Out here where I live the Metro Corp stores jack up the price, whereas the authorized stores sell at the website price. I got my Esteem for $200 (not including the rebate, which I still get) from an authorized store since I traded in my Indulge.

Because to the average metro masses it seems so cool compared to other phones, "wow a trackball, bigger screen than the OM, and it looks cool it must be good!" People get ripped off everyday, especially metro customers
And now that they aren't buying it from the stores the don't realize how bad it is, because they don't see the real price tag.

or even worse people buying the samsung craft(my temporary metro pcs phone) thats $60 more than the esteem!!! This phone is literally the biggest POS. I would much rather have my $9 phone than this thing.
