on the multimedia tab after entering my msil number i see 4 listings
RTSP Proxy Address
RTSP Proxy Port
HTTPPD PRoxy Addresss
HTTPPD PRoxy Port

it's the ports i change to 0.0.0.0 right?

changed the ports just forgot to write the original values down
i really dont see that much of a speed difference.
if anyone has the original values i'd appreciate it

Actually, it's kind of easy to get Ports and Addresses confused when you've been hacking on phones for days on end...

But... the "0.0.0.0" is a null IP Address and as such should be used to replace the Proxy Addresses, not the ports....

Don't remember my TCP/IP course material too well, but I'm pretty sure that a null address in the Address fields make the Ports moot... but I left mine alone and just put the 0.0.0.0 in the address fields.

I am soooo sorry I definitely meant to say proxy!!!!! You are supposed to leave the ports at default value...

I have the original values written down at home... will reply back when I get there

This is what I had written down from a long time ago back before GingerBread and EJ06. Guess it is still valid.

I am using 0.0.0.0. in the two address fields.

Correct... Yes, change the Proxy addresses to "0.0.0.0", and leave the Ports with their default values.

The ones listed in Post 8 and quoted in post 9 are the originals that I have...

i seen in a post somewhere els ..you can change proxy adress to 000.000.000.000..when i did it my speeds were faster according to speedtest. net..but then i realized i couldnt stream videos anymore..youtube or anything..

nice to see yuengling mentioned down in GA. that's my hometown (pottsville) in fact i went to school with one of the daughters (cheryl). fantastic brew. i miss that little city. do you have the full line down there or just the lager? drank it all through my youth. the Chesterfield Ale is my favorite brew lately.

That's cool... if I was that close I wold want a tour of the brewery...

They are definitely my favorite... but they are just beginning to catch fire with the non beer connoisseurs


In stores We only have the lagger and the black and tan... but I go to taco mac often for Yuengs and wings... they carry it all...

I will be trying the ale this Friday...

It's got some bite. Get to the bottom of the first bottle, though, and you may never go back to lager again. They just started a Bock for the holidays. I hope it stays around.
