App names on homescreen...

Nope. You'll need a third-party solution like ADW Launcher. It has a setting to hide icon labels.

Ok Dl'ed the Free ADW Launcher...I'm confused however.
When I open the app all my apps that I have moved to the homescreen and widgets I have setup are gone. I saw the option that lets me get rid of the app name on the homescreen in options. I know I can hold home and everything goes back to the way I had it set up before.
So do I have to run ADW and re-setup everything again just to get that one perk of being able to remove the app name?

Seems like alot of trouble for one thing I want to change.

You will have to set everything up again. Although, if you use Desk Migrate, you can transfer everything on your homescreens to the new launcher, well that is except for widgets. But this should make things easier.

or.. you can try Elixir app. it is free.
it has a great widget.. you can add to your homescreen.

then add apps or some great sys info or buttons.. and get rid of labels too.

explore this app.. it has a lot of power / function.

You can also use desktop Visualizer. You just need the icon images in your gallery.
