|ROM| ZYGOT3 RootzWiki

Well here is my first release of Ice Cream Sandwich for the CDMA Galaxy Nexus. As always... I strat with making a speed and performance base, and the mods will come. it is fast, Smooth, and Full Featured. this is only the beginining.
I present ZYGOT3...

Didn't play to nicely with my phone. Having trouble with data connection. A little laggy when opening the app drawer as well. Other than that it was excellent. I love having the toggle buttons on the notification pull down, as well as, the advanced power menu.

I think it was more of a kernel issue but I didn't feel like flashing another one.

I went back to pete's 4.0.3 and it has been flawless for me.

Nice Rom!

Coming from Fabolous' 4.0.2 stock mod rom.

Everything works.

Wallet works
Calendar works
camera video works
Restoring system apps (gvoice, nova launcher): fine.

Seems very smooth. Running with nearly 300 mb ram. Running 250 mb with a boatload of apps open. I find that amazing.

Just out of curiosity? Is there a way to change the T-CDMA 64?

PS: Hoping for button mods soon so I can add the search key on the bottom. Nova launcher rids me of of the search box.

This is certainly a contender for top honors. Congrats on some fine work, dev.

Gonna stay stock for a bit, but this ROM looks promising...

Question for you Steven, since this phone is going to be getting a lot of Dev support and should have just as many, if not more, ROMs then the OG Droid. Would it be possible to get a seperate ROM section on the board like we have for the OG Droid? It made it easy to post about and look for new ROMs instead of just lumping them all into the All Things Root page.

Wow Steven, woke up to this post and all of a sudden started itching for a flash. I'm d/l now and will prob flash if a few. I'm hoping Tib will work with this and I have some bucks in Wallet I hope will stay put. Any gotchas I should be aware of. In the dev's op he says no wipe needed, but I'm assuming that means from one of his versions to the next. I'll do a full wipe anyway, just curious. Thanks for the testing.

Edit: flashed and restoring apps now. Wow, this thing is *fast*!

Everything is working on this rom and it is incredibly fast. It looks like the android os bug is gone too. Wallet works and there are some very slick options not available in the stock .2 rom. I haven't OC yet but that will come shortly. The search bar is removable but the space is still unavailable unless I'm missing something. There are a ton of mods available but I'm still playing around so I'll mess with those later.

All in all this is a very slick rom and certainly worth a flash. The dev is updating almost on a daily basis with a new rom dropping at midnight for a Christmas flash.
