Help where is the data of the notes so I could back it up

The hallmark of galaxy notes is the notes written by the stylus and the text. But where does the device store this data, so i could back it up if i were to lose it ?

It looks like they are stored in:
/sdcard/Application/SMemo/Switcher

That's where all of mine plus the several demo files are stored.

They are stored here as .png files. Even the notes that I have deleted are stored. So this cannot be the place.

You can use Kies (preinstalled) or AirDroid to look at the contents of your phone, and also transfer stuff from the phone to your computer, or vice versa. Hope this helps.

Thanks darkmav. I will use this app. Kies I have already got. It is abig app but does not let you explore and wirelessly the functions are limited. I will try airdroid and get back to you.

You may want to look into using "EStrong`s File Explorer", if youn need a more robust file management app. It is very easy to connect to network shares as well.
