Everyone has issues - Mine has NONE

So, I've been reading horror stories about everyone having issues, and I've yet to find one with my phone...

Also, when it comes to apps, the only one I have yet to get wotking is NFL Mobile by Verizon. I even DL Adobe Flash and it works on my phone.

All of this, along with an average of 35+ down & 15+ up makes this phone PERFECT!!

Anyone else have this going on, or did I get the ONE seemingly perfect Nexus???

i'm fairly satisfied with my phone. The only problem i have with it is spotty reception at times, which hopefully will be fixed with the next patch..because it is a "dev" phone, updates should be rolling out first for us. :)

Plus I have 3 batteries (2 high caps and the included 1750 one), so I'm all set for battery power!

I dont really have any issues with mine. It works great. Ive had it shut off twice but no biggie there. The camera only takes great pics outside but I half expected that too and figured it would get better with age. I have excellent call quality. Vol is a bit low but so was my Infuse when I was on ATT. I love my phone. I figure any issues I think is there will be remedied when the software becomes more mature.

No issues here other than the NFL app mentioned by the OP. I purchased one for each my wife, son & I as Christmas presents. Granted, it's been limited use so far but regardless of how many bars I do or don't have, I haven't had any call drops. My only complaint is the volume of the external speaker. I wish they had beefed it up somehow. Other than that noting to complain about @ all. Great phone IMO.

volume+ in the marketplace. I'm a bit hard of hearing and this has helped A LOT

new phones on new operating systems always have bugs (as well as every other phone for that matter). you just haven't used yours enough or just not noticed any.

i love my GN, but i'm not under the impression that it's bug free-but there's no major ones and it's understandable. :D

For example, the alarm clock works just fine, every day. Iphone alarm clock has had issues going off since the first one.

Android is not only robust, but it's also polished and very well established over the competition.

I mean, how do you not fix your alarm clock over several years? The chalkie walkie talkie platform is a joke, and all adopters are beta testers.

Everything just works well with android 4.0.x, and it's a whole new release!:D:D

You got the only one!

You'll find that forums are a smoldering pot for a few people to get vehement about things. You'll hardly hear of a post like yours :D:D

The reason you hear so many negatives is because people that do not have issues 99% of the time do not come to threads and post, it is only those with issues which make it seem like everyone is having issues when that is not the case.

I agree 100%. Mine is working nearly flawlessly. HD SAMOLED screen is amazing and ICS is the best Android ever though it has some quirks that will be addressed. I have no issue with phone signal and call quality is better than Fascinate, Vortex I had before.

I thought I had problems but come to find out my wifi signal strength icon is not at all accurate and my wifi is actually better than my old phone.

On my droid incredible I have full bars on my wifi but my download is only 13mbs and on my wifi for my nexus it has 2 bars and I get 17mbs. So clearly the icons aren't accurate.

I'd love to see more like mine... Everyone is bashing and returning the phone, but I could simply NOT go back after this phone. It is EVERYTHING I want from a phone and more... and that's with NO root. :D

hehe... I tried to use my old Intercept for something the other day while my Nexus was out of commission (file transfer) and I couldn't remember how I ever did it before. <3 my Nexus

This is what I would love to be able to do. I would love to find someone close to me that says they have no issues, no dropped calls, and have great reception and take their phone to all my trouble spots. That would tell me if it is just my phone that has radio problems beyond the accepted normal, or if these really are just trouble spots for this phone.

Coming from a Dinc, i gotta say that this thing is a BEAST. So far, i have no horror stories to share. Everything actually works smoooothly. Unlocking went smoothly. (haven't rooted yet, cuz i'm still just enjoying the stock experience) battery life is pretty descent for a 4g device, and the screen...mmm mmm..now as someone on this thread mentioned, mine too does not make any sammiches and the app won't cut it for me. ;)

I also do not have any issues with my Nexus! I don't seem to have any of the issues that I have read so much about! (my mic has quit on long out of state calls though )

no they made 2, i don't have any issues people have complained about either. i live in a pretty good 4g area. about the only "issue" is the phone is a little quiet but i grabbed the ringtones from my old incredible and the file itself is louder than the nexus files. it isn't that the nexus is quiet it is just quieter than what i was used to. other than that this is the best android i think i have ever had.

I think the key to the signal issues is the non-fringe-area like a few people have mentioned before. If you are right "on the bubble" its having issues.......most likely corrected with software.

If you ignore the signal issues, the phone doesnt really seem to have too many issues, especially for something thats only been out a few weeks.

I have a Fascinate so Im aware of the display "issues" with AMOLEDs, and Im fully prepared to live with them. I believe Im in a good 4G area, so Im not expecting any signal issues (other than the too-frequent complete network outage). Only thing left is the apparently quiet speaker, but that seems to be able to be worked around.
