So, I made the switch from my beloved EVO to the GNex...

I had the EVO a month after release and LOVED it until I rooted and put MIUI on it. MIUI, while VERY nice to look at, is BUGGY AS ALL H.LL. There wasn't a day that went by that I didn't regret putting a ROM on it. I lost my GPS (which I used ALL the time), I lost my 4G, and I lost a few other things.

Never again will I root my Android UNLESS I already have a replacement in hand.

Now, the Gnex, what an AWESOME phone! The screen is PHENOMENAL!!! I've read the color issue threads and yes, I notice the some blacks that are blue but to be honest, I don't care. I don't watch movies on my phone at enough to care. The screen does EVERYTHING WELL for what I need it to do. My only complaint so far is the volume of the phone. Its just not loud enough. I can barely hear the notifications when they happen unless I am in a quiet room. Anyone know of an app that can fix that?

Former EVO and EVO 3D owner saying long live the EVO!

If yours is the Verizon version, Verizon has a killer case with a kickstand that will make you forget your former beloved. And now you have a phone that won't take six months to have software updates.

I have that case with the fold out kick stand lol!
