I know this isn't really helpful but I've been fine on xbl 90% of the time. What are your speedtest.net results? Mine are ~1.5 mb down and .5 up. Try the 3g supercharger script if your rom has init.d support. From the tests I tried on my old cable internet having an open nat only really affected the time it took to find a game, it didn't really help with in game lag.

Do you have a good signal? Are you running a computer on the same internet connection? Check these things first. Even if you're not actively doing anything on another computer shut it down or disconnect it because the computer has to send keep alive packets to the phone/modem which could be slowing your connection (it does that with my girlfriend's laptop even if she's not using the internet.)

Computer is shut down most of the time considering we have smart phones. But when I log on to xbox it's a decent connection. .5mbps around if not more but once i load the game and go to multi player it slows down to 15 kbps to around 60 kbps. I'm running 3g turbo so that's not the case and I changed proxy settings. I had a different prl but i didn't see much difference so I'm back to stock. I also changed the stuff in the advanced to 4gv on. So I'm not sure what I can do now.

Try this, in wifi tether go to setting and scroll down to preferred DNS and secondary DNS.

Change Preferred DNS to
8.8.8.8

and Alternate DNS to
8.8.4.4

These are the Google public DNS listings and the ones I use myself.

You can also try the OpenDNS dns servers though I doubt they would really improve your service.

The ip addresses are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

Give it a try and let me know, it's kind of a shot in the dark here. The only other thing might be to try tethering phone -> computer -> xbox like I stated in the other thread.I know I get slightly better speeds (maybe placebo but it definitely seems like it) when my phone is plugged in and I always seem to get better speed from my computer than my phone using speedtest.net

That slowed it down immensely. I have changed it back and decided to switch back to the pre108.apk for the wireless tether. I was bouncing around between beta9 and pre111 and pre112. Nothing is really helping this issue, and the ics that you suggested seemed improbable unless i'm just ******ed, which usually is the case. I haven't adjusted anything else yet, but I am curious which LAN setting I should use and if I should try to adjust any other one.
