Thats a good sign, at least it shows they are on top of the page and inventory. Lets hope they actually had enough units to cover the orders over the last 2 days!

BTW i've been thinking ... didnt BesBuy have a rumored exclusivity on Grey? So maybe it makes sense that they had tons of them in stock, while other estores had shipping dates 6-8 weeks out.

oh well, we will see.

If my device is acting flaky, im walking it right into the local BB store for a refund, since an exchange would be unlikely right now.

Are you saying thats not possible?

No way buddy, I am not saying that's impossible. Plenty people have received their prime and the thing runs fine, I'm sure.

Some people on the forums seem to think they need to go into the darkest room in the house and see if the screen bleeds, and in the farthest room in the basement to see if they have wifi problems.....lol, crazy.

But I don't know. How do u guys feel? Does best buy or gamestop have a decent return policy? Or are we gonna have a hassle on our hands IF we have problems?

Good luck guys and I hope BB comes thru for us.

my own opinion, if i get a device with ANY issues, im walking it back to bestbuy and they will take it back. I will fight tooth and nail to avoid restocking fee since its not my fault, but ultimately id rather just get it off my hands if im not 1000% satisfied.

$499 + tax + shipping is a TON of money these days, for anything. Especially a tablet, which at the end of the day is a luxury item.

if its not 100% functional and issue free, it goes back. Call me picky, its all good lol

WOW FYI .. just opened my email, and just now (7pm) received my shipping confirmation with tracking number

I ordered a grey one on 12/23 at 7pm, paid for expedited shipping

Same here. Same day, at 7am, expedited shipping... and I got a tracking number early afternoon today. However, the UPS tracking auto response shows that the shipping label was made and and it will be scanned once it gets to their facility when they open.

So they don't have it yet.

I have the tracking number, but UPS says they dont have the package yet, and will update their system when it arrives.

Does it strike anyone else odd that its taking so long? When i pay $30 for 1 day shipping, i don't expect it to take 4 or 5 days for it to even leave the facility. Yes there was a holiday, but they should have taken that into consideration and not sold a shipping they could not accommodate. IMO

I'm pretty sure it said one BUSINESS day, not one day. If you ordered late Friday (like I did) it wasn't going out that day. For most companies Monday was the official holiday day for Christmas, today is the first business day, and you should receive it tomorrow.

Just because they packed it up and got it ready for UPS yesterday doesn't make that count as one day. I got my tracking number yesterday, but I'm not expecting to see any action on it with UPS until late today. Since I only paid for expedited shipping, I'm guessing I won't see mine until Thursday.

From my experience, once you receive tracking information from UPS (it will say Origin Scan), count 2 business days for expedited shipping.

I just got off the phone with best buy, after being disconnected twice, and my re-order for the grey, which I was told when i placed it would be here Dec 27th, is now somewhere on a truck in California and will be here Jan 3rd..

This is way past ridiculous.. The supervisor I spoke to wouldn't even take my call when i had to call back after being disconnected. I got a $50 gift certificate for all this, but sh*t, can they get this right?

Is an accurate date when i can expect my product too much to ask for?
