Help do the scripts in handy asscend links work in cyanogenmod7?

I wanna use the speed tweaks in this thread xda-developers - View Single Post - [TWEAKS][SCRIPTS] Collection of 'em all - build.prop; init.d; etc. but I don't see the options inside the file for the internet speed tweaks. Do I have to manually add them and do I have to put them in any certain order?

Good question, I never did use those. It certainly couldn't hurt keeping them in order. Do a nandroid backup before you try, and for sure back up your init.d. Let us know what happens.

Would it be worth the effort to mess with this? Do you think I would even notice a speed increase? And in what order would I put them scur? I wanna use the tweaks for build.prop the internet speed tweaks.

Honestly, I doubt it will be worth it. It's not like going form stock Ascend ROM to CM7 where the difference will be big. The odds of speeding up your internet enough for you to even notice have to be pretty low, and if you do notice I don't see them improving enough for you to consider the whole thing worth it. All you'll be doing is increasing some of the buffers, you're not actually speeding up the traffic speed. But if you want to do it, just keep them in the same order that you see.

Yeah, I think it has something to do with using VoIP on protected systems or something along those lines, though I may be way off base. I know little to nothing about SIP.
