Snes emulator help

Yup, my only gripe about the emulators is that you cannot use the onscreen D-pad and onscreen buttons at the same time. So, basically, you cannot run and jump in games. However, as stated, for those slower paced games where that type of control is never required, it works great! Until we have multitouch, it is very limited to what games you can actually play with the NES, SNES, and GBA emulators on the Eris.

with games like Final Fantasy how are you moving your character? Are you using the tracball? I haven't figured this out yet. Im stuck on creating my name and can't navigate to the next screen?? I have the back button set as the a button and the search button as the b button (using Nesoid)..any suggestions as to how to navigate through the game without an actual thumbstick or keyboard?

You guys are crazy ... I played Final Fantasy on SNESoid the other day for at least a hour. No complaints at all. I could see it sucking donkey balls trying to play a fast action game like Street Fighter or something but I cant be happier.

Make sure you take time to set the controls properly.

I set mine up so the two buttons work via the touch screen. I think it is A & X. Then B & Y I assigned to the Search and Go Back buttons. Works excellent. Use virtual D Pad or the scroll ball.

Before I set the bottons like that though it was a total pain in the ass to control.

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, but can you go into detail about what buttons are assigned to what? I can't get passed the damn title screen!
