ha ha guys, very true... and I did use the backup programs, but what I did not remember is that the SD card also gets wiped out too... and that was where my backup was, and no, I was not thinking about backing my phone apps up on my computer. It is all good anyways the phone app are all logged in to the MY APPS option in the market, So I will get them all back installed. anyway I'm glad someone got a good laugh out of my stupidity...lol

I just udated the version to B08 and it wiped out my rooted phone, now I have to re root it again, and load all my apps back in again. this will be the third time. Im getting pretty good at this now lol

I've heard a few bad comments about the B08 update. Can you, or anyone else, tell me if it is absolutely necessary? I'm having issues connecting to my home wireless network and I'm hoping this update will help. Any thoughts?

I have noticed that after I did the update, My warp has not crashed/rebooted or any problems that I had. I still get one prog that keeps force stopping on me... "alchemy Premium v2.0.4" this is the only program that i have found that does this on my warp. I have moved it back to the phone instead of the
SD Card. This has stopped it from messing up as much as it has but I still get it a little bit, anyway Yes my warp is better after the update. What kind of problems are you having with your internet at home? My warp was being fussy with mine until I started turning of the 3g while I was at home, then switching them when I go out...that helped mine.

ok, so am I seeing this correctly? I can run this software on my phone, while its rooted, and it will wipe everything out and reset it to factory? then I can reroot it? I was told you have to unroot it, THEN run the software, then reroot the phone once its back to factory? I want the new update, but I dont want to wind up with a brick, so I want to make sure Im doing this correctly. Also, has anyone with the new update have any problems with the wifi tethering?? Im using Barnacle, if anyone has updated is barnacle still good? or is there another wifi tether I should use?

I can't say whether you need to unroot then update but I updated before I rooted and am currently running B08 and rooted...I have been using Wireless Tether for Root Users byt Muller, Lemons and Buxton from the market and it works great...I tried another app but I cant remember which and it ran a little slow, what I like about this app is that it tells you your battery temp on the main screen so you know when your battery is maybe overheating....thumbs up for me...another thing I have OTArootkeeper which temp unroots you for updates and things but I think only OTA updates...I am sure a more experienced member can chime in for you
