Open Signals Map Data Loss Issues

So I had Open Signals Map on my phone, uninstalled it and lost all data (3g and 4g). I reinstalled it and right away got my data back. Just thought I would toss that out there in case anyone else runs into this problem.

Now I would like to know how to take the app off my phone without loosing data.

PS this had nothing to do with the data outage happening today.

Did you uninstall and then reboot?

/subscribing I loaded this app I think the first or second day I had the VSGN, and it either didn't launch, or it didn't work... I think it made that quad screen with the initial loading screen in the bottom right corner.

Yup rebooted MANY times. I uninstalled it again and this time everything is fine.

Other than that and the locations of the towers being way off the app worked fine.

I installed it on my deactivated Bionic, shows LTE and signal strength but doesn't show ANY towers.

It can't even find the wifi that I have it connected to. Lots of complaints since the last update, too.

I have seen it take a long time for the towers to show up on the map and I have never seen it work for the wifi either.

For any signal issues you guy's need to download Fresh Network. It boosted my 4G LTE to max bars from 2. It's really amazing. I have no affiliation with the Developer.

I'm not having any signal issues but I tried that app but I tried that app and see no difference. If anything I dropped a bar by using it.

Yup. Everything is on with the Bionic, even have my old sim in there, it's just not active. It's on the wifi's and that's how I pushed the app to that phone.

I'm waiting for a micro sim to regular sim adapter, should be here today. I'll test on the bionic before attempting on the VSGN. Or is that SVGN or the SGN on VZW? VGN?
