Help Rezound Screen Scaling Issue.

What's the deal with objects being displayed on the Rezounds' screen that in some cases are 50% smaller in physical size than the same object displayed on my Incredibles screen? For example one solitaire game that I occasionally used to play on my Incredible, can't be comfortably played on the Rezounds larger screen. Card sizes on the Incredible measured 3/8" yet on the larger Rezounds screen they measure less than 1/4"

Another observation is HTC's own application, CALCULATOR. On the Incredible the display is very neat, and labels easily read. On the Rezound, the same app displays rediculously bloated letters which are too large to fit in the given space and end up being cropped, real messy.

It appears that the ability to scale objects to this higher resolution is seriously lacking and I hope that a solution from HTC is soon at hand, although a call to HTC today resulted in the response, " that's just the way things are???? "

The resolution issue with your card game and some other apps are not hTC's issue. Same issues with the GNex, bionic, and razr. The dev of that or those apps need to update the app for the higher resolution of the screen. Try another card game. See if there is a difference. As far as the calculator, does it work? There are a lot of calculator apps on the market that are prettier if the stock one don't excite you.

Your response is well taken... thank you.:) Sounds like I should also put more faith in the independent developer, then in HTC. When I called HTC regarding their Calcultor app, their response was "that's just the way it is, can't help you". I guess my real disappointment is that with a "bigger screen" I was assuming I'd be seeing either larger display objects or more content. In the case of my Home Screen, where I like running the Weather widget, there is room for 8 additional apps below, the same as I have on my DINC, but the size of those icons are larger on the DINC than on the Rezound. Is that a developer issue or HTC design?

Overall I still love this phone, and even though its' called the Rezound, it still strikes me more as the DINCs' big bother, more so than the Incredible 2, which didn't seem to share anything to me other than it's name.

The icons are smaller because of the resolution as well as text. You do typically get more content on pages, but you cant change the icon size, without using go laucher or other launchers. Like earlymon said spare parts may work, but some apps need more than that. Most of your web, text, email apps you can change font or text size.
I like the smaller icons. Can see my wallpapers better and seems cleaner to me.
