Help Does Your Evo Have The Rebooting Curse?

My Evo does. If you push the Evo to some mild work, it reboots. Reboots an average of 4 times an hour.
But has rebooted about 40 times in under two hours. Frustrated the hell out of me.
But getting a replacement tomorrow. :)

4 months ago i had this issue. i had a hw 4 evo and it would get hot and then reboot. and it was usually with intensive apps like pandora or gps or games like angry bird that would cause it to reboot. took it in to sprint and they gave me a refurbished hw 4 phone. no issues after that.

My wife and I both have EVOs...and they have both been rebooting for a month or so. I took them into Sprint and the person behind the counter had never heard of EVO 4Gs doing that.

She did offer to do a Factory Reset on both phones for no charge (we have Sprint Total Protection). After that, both phones went for about 2 days before I realized that they are still "cursed" (rebooting).

My concern is that I will have to pay the $100 deductible for each phone in order to get a replacement. Did Sprint make you pay the deductible? Obviously the EVO 4G is no longer a new phone and I really don't want to pay $100 to get another EVO 4G that might end up being cursed as well (which is what I've read online from others).

(Sorry for the late reply)
Sprint made me pay $35 for a replacement Evo, and I did not have insurance on my phone. So I think you're going to have to pay $76 max, including taxes, in total.
