No VM top up PINs on callingmart

I went in to callingmart.com today to get my monthly PINs for Virgin Mobile but VM was not to be found on their site. I had to get mine from Pinzoo.com instead. I did a search about callingmart and saw some other forum responses that said callingmart is no longer carrying VM top up cards. I know they did not have them one time this year and it was because of demand due to a misprint about a sale. Maybe they are gone for good from callingmart???

Dear Erin,

Thank you for contacting us.

We do apologize for the inconvenience but we will be no longer selling virgin mobile refills and boost refills here at calingmart because we have encountered some issues with Boost and Virgin Mobile Products since yesterday due to the sudden changes with their reselling policies for online retailer.

Sincerely,
Karen

Cool thanks. How much does the reward system add on to? I know Callingmart had .25 cent rewards per purchase.

Callingmart the $25 pin used to be $24.01 with the discount coupon. The $0.25 credit / reward for the next purchase I guess was an enticement to come back there for future purchases.

KeepCalling.com is actually better since the $25 pin is only $23.75 and no rewards program do deal with.

Just hope they will stay in business for a while and have the discounts available

Yeah I was almost going to use walmart too, but it's really a good deal, plus no tax, and the savings could add up if they keep this around. Besides I use paypal, so they don't get any sensitive info.

What do you mean sensitive info? The info they get isn't any different than when I physically walk into the store and buy something with my Visa. I did not get charged any tax for placing my order online.

I had a premier business account with Paypal for more than 10 years. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

But you mentioned in your last post (and a new thread you created here) that with your referral code, you get rewards points. What does this go toward?

Sensitive info is credit card numbers stored in their servers. When they get hacked your CC number can be stolen & used, it'll be hassle to clear things up. With paypal, the info is stored on paypal's servers, since paypal's only business is handling money & accounts, they likely have more secure ways of storing such info. The less places storing your info the better.

The keepcalling.com reward points can only go towards purchasing calling credit using their service, so you can make international LD calls. They CANNOT be used to buy top-up PINs for VM I found out.

That's hogwash. In my 10+ years of business experience (I own a web hosting company, so all my business transactions are online with Paypal and other major credit card companies), not a single hack of Visa or Mastercard, and more than 2 dozen hacks of Paypal accounts. Paypal is crap because is relies on email addresses. Email accounts are so hackable it's not even funny. A thief will focus on Paypal before they will even consider going near a legitimate bank account using Visa or MasterCard.
