Help need camera app recommendations

hey there -- hope your holidays are going well.

I'd like to hear some recommendations for camera apps to use on my OV. I posted about this once before, a long time ago;p I can't find that thread. I'd pulled CameraAdvance out of that list. The app worked find, but it is not at all consistent with the way it saves my pictures -- I have to hunt around in the Gallery every time I take a new one. CameraAdvance sometimes saves with the current time and date, and sometimes with whatever time and date it wants to use.

So I'd like to switch, but would like to hear some ideas on what to try next.

My OV is rooted, if that makes a diff.

For saving pics like the gallery only way better: Quick pick
For functionality: Camera Trigger(camera shot delay)

Don't know if these will interest you or not.

I'm okay with the Gallery functionality like it is. It's not great, I guess, but it's okay. I think I need a new app to take pictures with.

So Camera Trigger, eh? thanks, I'll look into that.

Camera ZOOM fx has some really nice features, like a timer, and image stabilization. It is a paid app, I'm not sure how much. I got it during the ten cent app deals, but it's worth two or three dollars, at least.

I picked up Camera Zoom FX for three bucks. It was on sale and I was feeling adventuresome. Now to see where and how it saves pictures :)

Can you tell me more about these ten cent app deals?

You will also need to play with image editors. There are quite a few free ones on the market.
< if you look close you will see my face is actually a matrix. I needed a little more light, but we don't have flash. The text is from a Meme Generator. This is what it looks like enlarged

Camera Zoon has one built in. If I can figure out how to do image adjustments with it, then I'll be set.

{QUOTE]Google had a special deal going in the market at the time. I'm sorry to report it ended last week.[/QUOTE]

bummer. How'd you find out about it?

I have the free version of HDR Camera and have been quite impressed with the photo quality. It does take a while to get the picture, and you want to hold still that whole time, but the resulting image is worth it.

My personal Fave as well. The resulting snapshot, if done PATIENTLY, is one of the most clear pictures you could ask for in a cell phone. The definition in the resulting photos is very desirable.

I also dabble around with Camera Fun Pro, a neat playtoy with 30+ "filters".

I am many things, but patient is not one of them :) Thanks for the rec anyway. I might look into that, though, for static shots -- most of the time I am taking pictures of people, though, who tend to move a lot :)
