Root restoring app & data etc after flashing roms

Hi am looking for some advice, I seem to come across problems restoring after flashing.
Thing that I normally backup are text messages, contacts call history all apps and data,

what do people use when restoring such items.
what is the process that u go through from start to finish?

thanks in advance for any input

Darren

Titanium Backup can do pretty much everything, the paid version will even interrogate your nandroid backup for the apps and data. Although I'm not sure about call history etc.

SMS you can do with an app called SMS Backup and Restore, Contacts should be backed up to your google account and this should do your Call logs (although I've never used it).

What sort of issues are you having?

Thanks for the information el pres

It's more than likely me as I'm all new to this. This htc DHS being my first android phone.

I do use titanium backup and create the zip file and restore using missing apps and data batch operation.
I also use mybackup pro for contacts sms and call logs.

I do use apps2sd and more everything that I can and keep it there.

I do sometimes find that when I run that batch operation some apps don't appear.as I do have the apps and games on my sd card o thought they automatically load up.

Like i.said it more than likely me. Lol

Just looking for avice on what other people do.

Thanks

Don't forget when restoring by batch with Titanium to untick all red system apps and only restore the green and grey apps. For restoring your apps2sd apps your going to have to use a file explorer to get to the apps folder in the apps2sd partition and install each of them seperately. I imagine once done the missing apps will continue to question the data on the sd card.

So titanium won't restored apps on the SD card?
