Help Question about tethering

A program called PDAnet should do it...

I have that one but rarely use it since the Wifi hotspot works. PDANet works great but they want $15 to view https sites. I remember that there is another one that is free or very cheap that WetBiker used to use. I don't remember the name but it is on an old thread somewhere.

For what it is worth I don't think either program gives significantly better performance than the free wifi hotspot. Oddly enough.

Wouldn't I need a wifi card for my desktop in order to do wireless tethering like they have on laptops

2. Thread is being closed because of Boost Mobile's Official Term's of Service regarding wifi-tethering:

According to the Boost Mobile's Terms of Service (ToS) available at http://support.boostmobile.com/service_policies/terms.html

Boost Mobile's official policy about tethering is
