Here is a thread to show off your Samsung Exhibit II 4G home screen.

My phone is rooted and I installed and used "Screenshot ER Lite" (Fahrbot Mobile) from the Android Market. If anyone has any other screen shot apps they want to share then please do so.

Anway ... Here is my home screen:

I know, I know, it's a bit lame lol

Basically I wanted to get all the most important stuff on the home page. That's why the the e-mail stuff is there and the browser and Google Voice (which I use for voicemail) and the two file managers (I can't decide which I like better although I mostly seem to use "File Expert" over the stock one).

The big volume widget comes from an Android App called "Volume Control +" by Coffeebreak Apps. I find it rather handy. Although now that I'm thinking about it more ... I might remove the widget in favor of a shortcut to the app.

I also have a shortcut to "Android System Info" (app by ELECTRICSHEEP). I like this app because it gives you a lot of details about your Android such as how much internal memory, RAM and SD Card space is used/left along with your battery power (by percent). Also has a running task list area and you can even kill selected apps.

Anyway I am thinking of buying "Beautiful Widgets" to spruce it up some but haven't gotten around to it.

Again please feel free to post your home screen and tell us about any special apps you have on it or widgets etc.

My phone isn't rooted (and don't plan on doing so) and there is no visible screen shot app on my phone. But somehow I did something and my phone took 2 screen shots of itself and can't figure out how. So confused. Womp.
It's actually very simple to root this phone. Directions are here on the forum. It really is a safe thing to do as long as you don't get 'delete happy' with apps (some apps should never be deleted or the functionality of the phone will be affected).

you press the power button and the home button at the same time
I had no idea either until I stumbled across it on some random post somewhere

I installed "ADW.Launcher" from the Marketplace and grabbed a simple (but I like simple) background.

Here's my new current home screen:

The weather widget is one I got off of the Android Marketplace and is called, "Sense Analog Clock Widget 24" and the icon at the bottom that looks like a blue/white cartoon bubble is "Handcent SMS" which is a replacement text msg'ing app (also from the Android Marketplace). The backgound is one I found just doing a google search (forget now where I got it from).

I have my phone rooted and am using ADW Launcher with a Honeycomb theme. I changed every icon to a different looking one and have my most used icons on the hidden dockbar for easy access and to keep my main screen clean. The clock is from Beautiful widgets, and the skin for it I downloaded from in the BW app. I have removed all the icon labels from my homescreens and app drawer, Ive found it gives it a smoother look and feel, and I shrunk the icons on the home screens some

I still haven't remembered how to customize my folders yet... On my MT3G I managed to completely customize it.

The wallpaper I made myself (completely, dragon and background). It's for the Chinese New Year (It's the year of the Water Dragon). Any thoughts, comments is more than appreciated as I guess I consider this art..that I made and criticism is always welcome.

AND if you know how to customize the folder Icons I'd greatly appreciate if you could let me know. Thanks :)

Was gonna show it, but it just changed (again).... I loaded the free version of Voice Control, which allowed me to take six items off the screen. Gone are Skype, Compass, Wunderlist, and the Recordoid voice recorder. And gone from the lower 'permanent' area are Talkatone and GoogleVoice; the VoiceControl app now sits down there.

All I do is tap the VoiceControl and say 'phone' and Talkatone comes up. Or say 'compass' or whatever. The free version does 6 tasks. Maybe one day I'll upgrade, but this is sufficient for now.
