This can be tricky, it took me a while to get it down. Hold down the volume-down button and tap the power button. Keep holding down the volume-down button until you see the yellow download mode logo.
It's seems to be easier to power off, pull the battery out, plug into usb and do the above.
the phone was donated n isnt on my account, so taking it in wouldnt do me any goodmy phone didnt die but i lost some features that i use alot the rom seemed bugy that or i didnt get a good flash mabye my av software f-ed it up anyway did you try to boot into recovery holding down the r on the keyboard and the power button then doing a factory reset of the device if not then just take it to a cricket store and say you dont know what happend dont tell them anything about flashing a new rom or rooting just act like it crashed and they will replace the phone

Yea familiar with it just dont have one lol.Its called a jtag service...are you familiar with that
Weird, I figured it would work. CWM wont work for sure.
then again it is GB and the SuperOneClick is now updated for ''all'' Samsung GB devices.
Amazing. Minor bugs but nothing too serious that would make me complain to cricket or huawei. It lacks 1 or 2 things that were released under the Honor for ex. the DLNA. Definitely recommend to go see it in person at the closest Cricket store. Over all its probably the best phone i have ever had so far, now if it only had 4G....
lost root access and was not able to root the device after installing this rom even using the super one click program problem with usb debugging on the debugging icon would dissapear in the middle of root process and the program could not find the phone after that but if you dont need your device rooted this rom is very nice faster and cleaner than 2.2 phone is shipped with new features were great
since cricket runs off of verizon towers 4glte is coming soon to cricket rumors have the first 4g handsets on the market during the second quarter of 2012
Nice, will be on the look out.. er just wait for it to arrive.Yea familiar with it just dont have one lol.
Its boxed back up n will be on its way back to 258 today tho.
actually, cricket uses both lolCricket runs off of Sprints towers not Verizon. Sprint is switching to LTE as well.
I doubt Cricket will sell any 4G phones this year seeing that they are still testing it but with wifi modem(?).
actually, cricket uses both lol
The usb problem is intermittent. I can get a good usb connection most of the time. If usb starts acting up, pull out the battery and start over. It usually clears out the problem. If you wait for a good usb connection you will be able to root. I didn't have a problem rooting my on first try.
Other than the usb issue this GB rom is running great. All my apps are loading up faster and running better. I have lost no functionality, except CWM. In fact apps I couldn't run (like the heavy game ShadowGun) run good.
I'vealso noticed an improved battery life, more free memory, and a stronger signal strength.
I only know of Sprint but to say they use Verizons LTE for their products, nope. I wish.actually, cricket uses both lol
I get verizon towers all the time trying to dial *228 lolI only know of Sprint but to say they use Verizons LTE for their products, nope. I wish.
