I just got off the phone with ZTE, and as usual, they're completely worthless! What I'm trying to find out is if any of the ports behind the back case are external antennae ports. I'm having a problem getting a strong signal and am exploring ways to boost (no pun intended), but my Boost needs a boost. The ports I'm referring to have little plastic covers. If anyone could lend me their tech knowledge, I'd appreciate it....

Can you recommend an antenna for this phone. I get no service at all while I am at work with this phone and my old sprint phone (rumor 2) got a bar or 2. I would like get just enough signal so I can send/receive text messages. Best reception I get on the phone at work is around -100dBm

Boost only work on 1900M. Sprint can both on 800M and 1900M. So singal coverage is different between them. How about differ among the same Boost or Spint phone?

I am not trying to tell you what to do with your phone, but don't you think sticking copper wire into the back of it might damage it? what if you drop it and the copper wire comes loose from where you stuck it and just happens to cross something else back there and damages your phone, you will be out a phone for a while till you replace it. Like I said I am NOT trying to tell you what to do at all, but for your sake I hope you know what your doing. Good luck..

I have a magnetic car antenna that plugs into my ZTE phone and change the setting to WDMCA.Works great in the country.

Yes, this is possible to amplify signal strength through professional maker, only a copper wire connect to there is not enough and there is a possibility to make damage with phone's socket.

Please share your detail info then maybe someone need it, specially for those guys always trip in the ****ry or mountain area on long drive who need real-time navigation and phone call.:) thanks!

PS: be sure your test results is trusty, it's mean real have an obvious amplification before introduce to others.
