Just read a tweet from a reasonably reliable source that ATT will have the Nexus very soon! :):D:)

This is a copy/paste of his statement...............

@P3Droid P3Droid
So if on att and wanting a nexus DONT buy an import just wait..ur time is almost here.

AND.............. i have always been a supporter of P3. His info may not always be 100% down the road but it is current at the time he tells us !!!!!
Please do not dump on him...........he is a great help to the Android community :):)

Looks like we aren't getting the Nexus, considering the Skyrocket is the same thing.
They are not the same thing not even close. I have owned an unlocked Nexus and it has ice cream sandwich os and no physical home keys they are on the touch screen and has a led indicator at the bottom of the screen to alert you of a call. The Skyrocket has none of that. So with that said it wouldn't surprise me if At&t gets one.

Is there any update on the subject of the Galaxy Nexus coming to AT&T? I'm sick of AT&T taking forever with their roll-out of android version updates. Would really like the Galaxy Nexus that way I'd always be running the most current version of android, and would be will to spend for it as well. I would buy unlocked, but from what I understand AT&T is forcing anyone using a smartphone (even if unlocked) to purchase their smartphone data plans.

My N900, both T-Mobile branded Android phones (Sensation 4G and Defy), as well as my T-Mobile Galaxy Tab, all have data connectivity via the $15/mo Unlimited AT&T Media Net plan.
