SuperNote!!!

I am Hoping and Praying that when my TP upgrades to ICS that SuperNote works there as well!!! Please Asus, make that happen!

As a primary level teacher, I have to take notes on kids all day long now that our district has adopted Reader's and Writer's Workshop. I have been piloting iPads for my school for some time now and couldn't wait to get my own Android Tablet so that if and when I lose my iPads, I can still take notes on the kids the way I have for some time...got to give Apple one stinking prop there, they have great note taking apps where I couldn't find anything on the Android Market that could match Noteshelf by Apple...until I got my Prime and it came LOADED with SuperNote! It is exactly what I need and is fantastic! But I am afraid that I will lose it once ICS comes along.

Does anyone know a lot about this app? Why it isn't on the general market? If it will be saved come January 12th...or so? Thanks! -Joe

I hope not as well. I was just playing with Supernote and my new stylus. Very good app indeed.

Is anybody familiar with both EverNote and SuperNote that could write a couple comparative sentences about them? I have used EverNote for quite a while and enjoy the syncing between all my devices - phone, tablet, PC. Does SuperNote have additional benefits?

My guess is since this is a preinstalled application that it will be there for the ICS update

I had not used it yet but tried it when I saw your post. It is fantastic! I also hope it works once ICS rolls into the Prime! It seems to be their app anyway!

The only downside I have seen with SuperNote is no online syncing like Evernote or ColorNote. However, I've got a 32GB microSD card being delivered today so I'll be using the SuperNote app and backing up to that. I got a stylus a couple of weeks ago off of Amazon for a few bucks. This thing is so much better than my former iPad 1.

Yup, I probably should have visited back here a couple of days after creating this thread and mentioned that it still works.

But I do have a question...
How will this app be updated since it isn't a part of the market? Will they come straight from Asus? Will Asus even update it, based on tack record? I would like to see some modifications made to this already strong app.

I'm guessing since it is built-in and not in the Market, it'll get updated whenever Asus issues software updates. So far they've kept the Prime updated quickly and regularly, so maybe that'll bode well for your hopes. Who's the App developer? They might be able to answer your question. Is it Asus, or a 3rd party developer?
